Stopped by to show some visitors a good sandwich and was not disappointed. The whole ordering process is like going to subway... but the sandwiches are much better. I had the chicken with white BBQ and it was great. Chicken was juicy and a little sear. Thewhite sauce was tangy and plentiful. My guests has the crab cake sandwich and the BLT. The BLT was packed with bacon ????, Icould see it dripping out the bottom. Only comment was the fried tomatoes were a little thin and the tomato itself couldn?treally be tasted. Kingfisher is always enjoyable. I really like how they make everything in house. This last trip I went with the cuban sandwich... and it was really delicious. They're always doing specials that will keep you coming back just to see what they have, but themain menu items are all solid, especially the fish sandwiches, shrimp burger and seafood platters. Went because a customer rated their burger in their top 3, and I was looking for a decent burger to eat. Staff was polite and... quick. It was easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Everything was homemade, the burger, bun, and even thepickled cucumbers. Will return. Read more
My family and I are from up north and visiting this area. We make everything from scratch ourselves, so to dine in a restaurant... that have the same morals and take pride in everything being made in house is refreshing! We ate here twice and was very pleasedeach time. Definitely would recommend! Read more
My daughter had the Kale Shrimp salad. It was surprisingly good. My wife had the shrimp sandwich. She liked it - me - not so... much. Sorry, but I actually forgot what I ordered. I do remember their homemade chips. They were also surprisingly good. Priceswere reasonable. Our food came out quickly. I did like the art on the wall. Oh, and there is also a bar. Excellent casual dining option! We were visiting family in Pensacola and they brought us here. Kingfisher is truly a local... favorite of theirs and we understand why. We are vegan so we had the buffalo sandwich, filled with fried jackfruit, slaw andhomemade pickles; homestyle greens; baked beans; crinkle fries; sweet tea; local bottled soda. Service was superb and everyonewas fantastically friendly. We will be back and our family has assured us they will be the 'regulars' keeping seats warm for us. Read more
One of my favorite lunch places in Pensacola- the fish sandwich is hard to beat. Staff is incredibly friendly, and while it can... get pretty busy during lunch time (especially on the weekend), there's a back room with additional seating. Cuban sandwich(today's special), homemade chips, and a drink ran me $15, worth it. Read more
Ordered food as take out and received a metal shaving in my white Alabama BBQ sandwich. We called to inform them to make sure... that nobody else received the same and was informed they would email us but never got back in touch. Will not be eating hereagain and wish they had followed through to protect their other customers. Read more
