I originally visited here by the recommendation of another review. I agree with it! If you are visiting Pensacola, you gotta... stop here. There?s a ton of history behind this place and it is easily the freshest seafood I?ve come across. Our first time here and it will not be the last. We?re on vacation from northwest Louisiana and my father in law found this... place. We filled up two coolers before we headed back home!!!! They have a large gift shop, and seasonings that you canpurchase. Also the have different kinds of dips available for purchase. The seafood selection is massive!! Amazing place! Fresh seafood selections and it doesn't smell fishy. It's chilly inside, so bring a light jacket if you don't... like the cold. Try the salmon salad offered at the salad bar. We didn't have time to try the sushi place in back. The steamedcrabs are HUGE and way cheaper than the ones in Lousiana. Bring a large cooler and fill up on reasonably priced shrimp- Iheavily suggest the Australian shrimp. Read more
I really like coming here for the variety of seafood and great deli foods. Can?t beat this place for the shrimp available. You... can make a whole meal in here but you better be ready to shell out the cash. Whole red snapper is going for $10 a lbs. Was inyesterday and just about everything has been marked up in price. I guess we all know why that is. Old man Patti?s harassment ofhis employees is starting to get a little old, he?s actually starting to cuss at them. With heads, without, peeled, cooked. The market has other things beside seafood tocomplete a great meal. Seasoning, garnish, cheese, wine.... Tip is to come to market early.
