Third visit here and the food and service is consistently very good. Even though nothing seems to be made to order it is very... tasty meal every time. The food is simple and arrives exactly as stated on the menu. I ordered the fried chicken and wassurprised when the waitress asked what pieces I wanted, not just dealer?s choice. The garlic mashed potatoes were just that, adda little salt and pepper and start eating. A little pepper vinegar for the collard greens and dig in. The wife ordered thechicken fried steak was very satisfied. Gravy was simple and hot. Okra and Mac and cheese were good. Very clean place with anice motif. Read more

WOW....all I can say. My wife and I just ate here and we will definitely be back. The Atmosphere, the Service, and especially... the Food. I got the Fish & Shrimp Grits (Blackened). Cooked perfectly and the grits were creamy and cheesy. Wife loved theFried Chicken....but the kicker was the cinnamon and sugar yams. I am born and raised Southern, but have never had Yams thatgood. Loved em. If you are local, or visiting, you gotta check this place. Soul food at its best. Read more

We ate dinner outside after being on the beach all day & enjoyed our meal so much we decided to stop back in for brunch/lunch... before heading home a few days later. This time we sat inside. The atmosphere & service was excellent both visits. Honestly, thestaff was so nice & seemed very genuine. The food again was great. In 2 visits we had the good old burger (good standard freshburger) the andouille crusted shrimp (really good!) Pecan cobbler (really good!) Chicken & waffles (I don't eat much gluten butthese were worth cheating for! Wow!) Fried fish & shrimp grits, fried okra & the blueswacker (with a floater- strong & good. I'mnot driving so it'll be a nice relaxed ride home????) This is a new favorite stop for us as we visit Pensacola yearly! Read more

Went there for an early dinner on Wednesday. Had 50c wings with several flavors to choose from. Wings were pretty good and I... would have bene satisfied with just the wings for dinner. Also had the catfish and shrimp grits. They were okay. I've hadbetter grits but the catfish and shrimp were excellent. Kids had the 2 piece chicken and chicken tenders with fries, and macand cheese. We weren't a fan of the fries but the chicken was moist and very tasty. Had 2 drinks which I thought were prettyweak but a decent taste (strawberry jam and a tequila blues) I would visit again. I've been here before and they were betterlast time. Honestly I think they just had an off day. I'd definitely go back for just the 50c wing Wednesday. Read more

Came here for Father?s Day brunch and was really worried because they didn?t take reservations. They opened at 10 and it was a... line by 930am, and it was hot. But once the doors opened, the staff got everyone in in a timely manner. We had to sit outside(party of 8) but there were lots of large fans to help stay cool. Our waitress, Janet, was great and my food was delicious. Ihad chicken tenders and waffles. Service was so good that I stopped back in to tell the manager how great everyone did beforewe left. Would definitely come back again. Read more

Our first visit to Five Sisters. Ashley, our server was ?on point ?. She answered many questions and had great menu... recommendations. The restaurant was spotless. My party ordered a variety of items from the menu. We were all satisfied. It wasworth the visit for the shrimp and fried green tomatoes alone! The portion size was very generous. Just a great place to enjoy ameal and hang out! Read more

An exemplar of fine southern dining. This was my first visit to Five Sisters, and it most assuredly won't be the last. The jazz... atmosphere, wonderful staff, and absolutely bomb food will make you wanna slap ya mama. The flavors are all robust, the friesand chicken are perfectly crisp with no grease. Good enough to make me sit there and just eat it in silence and awe. Lookingforward to the next visit y'all. Read more

We had a wonderful experience at Five Sisters Blues Cafe downtown on Belmont Street. We went for an early dinner on a... weeknight and the service was consistently excellent as it always is. There was already a good amount of people present, and wewere immediately greeted by a friendly server and seated. The server was very professional and kind, answered our questions, explained the specials, and was attentive to our needs. The restaurant is beautifully decorated taking advantage of thehistoric nature of the area and offers outdoor seating as well as inside. Pictured below is the Good ol burger, an angus burgeron a brioche bun with the delicious homemade roasted onion Mayo, and two different meatloaf specials, one with yams and a sidesalad, and the other green beans and mashed potatoes. Everyone found the food excellent in quality and fresh. We had awonderful five star experience. Having been there before, I highly recommend their home made fried chicken and their ribs whenthey have them as a special on the menu. A five star experience for the food, service, and ambience.
