As a vegetarian/foodie moving from Toronto to a small community - I was nervous I wouldn?t have as many options. Captain Roberts... Table was such a pleasant surprise! Their brunch has several vegetarian dishes (and a vegan one!) and they offer at least onevegetarian option for dinner! Not only do they offer vegetarian/vegan dishes, the food itself is amazing. When we are lookingto go out for breakfast, this restaurant is always at the top of the list. The atmosphere (inside & out) is beautiful & cozy,I?ve brought several family & friends here who also love it & all the staff have been kind and professional every time I?vegone! This restaurant strives to provide fresh, delicious food & that shows every time I?ve eaten there; and I have eaten therea lot! Read more

Beautiful atmosphere without a doubt - lots of potential here. The brunch however was disappointing. Lots of deep fried... potatoes next to the Eggs Benedict ordered, bacon was tough and dry (over done) and the caramelized onions were burnt. Goodidea but it just did not work for me. Would love to return - hopefully they choose to roast fresh mini potatoes or offer amixed green salad in its place. Read more

The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, and the pace of service was good. As others have said, the manager comes around to... check on you. For the price, the food was not as good as we expected. I ordered the seafood spaghetti and it did not come withany sauce, just a very light amount of oil. It was underseasoned and underwhelming. The bison steak was delicious. The menu doesnot have enough non-seafood options or enough of a by the glass wine selection, in my opinion. Read more

What a lovely spot for a brunch. Feels like you're at a friends cottage, with waterfront views, welcoming hosts and fresh home... made food. I had the "Health Nut". The avacado slices were perfectly ripe and the gluten free bread option had a corn breadflavour- delicious. My husband had the "Local" 4 kinds of meat- right up is alley. We'll definitely be back Read more

We enjoyed an excellent brunch here on Sunday of the September long weekend. It is always a joy to find a restaurant not only... with gluten free options but also with a dedicated gluten free fryer. My hubby was delighted to have actual fries! I had theCaptain?s burger which includes crispy bacon and a fried egg with arugula and he had the Carnivore Bene. Others in our party hada traditional bene and spinach salad. Everything was yummy and quick. Friends who had eaten there earlier also raved about theFrench Toast.... perhaps next time? Outdoor option to sit on the patio overlooking the tall ships. A real local gem! Read more

Went for brunch on the outside patio. Fortunately, the weather was perfect for an outdoor meal and a spectacular view of... the harbour and the historical naval vessels. We both enjoyed very much the "Bennies" along with lattes. Also I ordered theseafood chowder just to try it out and was pleasantly please with the result as it included shrimp as well as fish.
