Have you driven by this place and thought "hmm? I wonder what that's like?" Well, STOP and eat there, you won't be dissapointed... you did! The location is really random, kindof next to the Food Lion parking lot. But the food is OUTSTANDING. Everything wetried was amazing, especially the Brussel sprouts, which are roasted and salty, crunchy, and sweetened with honey (we had 3orders, they were SO good). Also delicious- the roasted potatos. Like another reviewer said, the best potatoes she ever had. Thesushi was outstanding. I've been to tons of sushi places around Atlanta, and this is even better. The spicy California roll andthe Louisiana roll were beautiful and flavorful and fresh. Then there's the pizza.....surely they can't be good at everything?Wrong- the pizza is also scrumptious, with a chewy thin crust- similar to mellow mushroom. They also have a good selection ofbeer, wine and saki. Then, there's the dessert. Smores pizza was not too sweet, perfectly roasted marshmallows and tons ofchocolate. New yolk kitchen is hands down the best pizza in the Clemson area. The sourdough crust is exceptional. Everything from the wood... fired oven is cooked to perfection. Delicious local beers on draft. The atmosphere is very modern yet quite comfortable. Thereis nothing bad to say about this place. Read more

I've been here twice with my best friend and the service was excellent. Our server, Emily greeted us and welcomed us back! She... remembered our drink orders from like 2 weeks ago. She's fantastic! The food was delicious! I recommend the sushi, brusselsprouts, pork chop, and the teriyaki wings!! It's really chill, laid back environment, and me and my best friend want theplaylist lol! Our server, Erica, was fabulous and the food was awesome and honestly completely unexpected. I am a huge ethnic food lover and... we chose the sushi route. The Fiesta was fabulous and definitely spicy. The California we added cream cheese too and it wasfresh and no imitation crab meat was in sight. The Louisiana is a mouth full but I?ll definitely be ordering it again. Theowner was friendly and answered any questions we had as well. I never post about a place unless I have been there multiple times. I have been there 7 times and my thought: This place is an... undiscovered South Carolina GEM. Glorious! Thanks be to God! They roast their crispy potatoes in Duck fat- Need I say more? Imean, I will- but do I need to? The Chef here is a laid-back genius! The menu is an eclectic arrangement of American tapas,incredible inventive pizzas, and Korean nibbles. They have beers, ales and ROOTBEER on tap. So it really is the perfect place tocome sit and talk for hours with your friends while your much away on the best quality food Clemson/Pendleton has to offer. Theyhave plenty of outdoor seating and heating lamps too. They have plenty of food for vegetarians also and all meals can be madewithout duck fat if wanted. There are only two workers- so Don't you dare expect not to wait. But again. This isn't dash and eatkind of place. This is an European or Asian kind of meal- you come for the food but you stay for an hour or more because you areeating and joking around with family and friends. TLDR: Why come to New Yolk Kitchen: -You are tired of the same South Carolinefood and you want to try something you could find in the Big cities like New York or Seul or Paris. -You want a place to eat andtalk with your friends for more than 1 hour. -you want really, reallllllly good quality food. -you want to eat outside becauseyou are sensibly cautious about covid19. (although you can eat inside if you wish that too) - you like imaginative pizza andtapas (shareable food) and veggies (I recommend the Korean paella or roasted asparagus ) Why NOT to come to New York Kitchen -you just want to grab food and dash. - you dont want to try other foods than Campbells cans foods/ pizza with a menus differentfrom Dominos scares you. -you expect immediate service from the only two workers there, and will be grumpy I you don't get it.It is a new restaurant and they are very short-staffed. The food here was amazing. The potatoes roasted in duck fat were honestly some of the best potatoes I've ever eaten. We also had... the fungo mushroom pizza, which was absolutely fresh and crisp. It is clear that the ingredients here are of high quality. Wefinished up with both the banana nutella dessert pizza and the smores pizza. The banana nutella was definitely the best. Therewas only one employee working and he was amazing. He kept the orders coming, made all the food fantastically and never lost hiscool. We tried to help out by cleaning up before we left because good food and good service deserves all.the support we can giveit. Can't wait to come back and try some more adventures in this fusion food. This restaurant is AMAZING! I have a food allergy which many restaurants cannot or will not accommodate. The staff at New Yolk... went out of their way to make us feel welcome and safe. They altered some of the recipes so the food would be safe for me to eatand even re-washed and re-seasoned their already clean cast iron pans to season them with an alternate oil just for me. How kindis that?! The service was outstanding to say the least. The food was excellent too. The Brussels sprouts and pizza weredelicious. The Brussels were sweet and salty, the perfect balance of flavors. The truffle/ egg pizza was so savory and cheesy.Very yummy! The s?mores pizza is not to be missed. Not overly sweet and delicious chocolate and marshmallow heaven. We were intown from Atlanta and have eaten at tons of good food spots with the plethora available in Atlanta.
