It was an experience, Think hometown steakhouse, with a cocktail list of classic Cocktails. The Service was friendly and... knowledgeable. The extensive wine and Liquor list made for a easy selection of custom drinks to pair with your Filet Minion andCrab cakes so delicious i finished them before thinking of taking a picture. We were there during Roundup, so I'm willing to cut them some of slack. But... the cocktails were maybe a third of a normal... portion & served in plastic cups, & the prime rib was the worst I've ever had. It looked like a rib eye cut, was grilled and itwas tough & chewy. I ordered it medium rare & it was medium to well done. Dinner was definitely not worth the hefty price wepaid. I was in Pendleton for Round up. It was so incredibly busy. I've never seen anything like it. The staff were absolutely amazing... and kept service with a smile through it all. I went back every night. Frankly, one of the best steaks I have had! Lookingforward to going back! Read more
The atmosphere and setting is a big draw to this place. Because while the food was ok, I think it's a bit overpriced for the... quality. I had the alfredo with chicken and it was very very soupy. And only about 5 slivers of dried out chicken. Our serverwas super nice and attentive and made visit enjoyable. One last note would be to have better ventilation for the smoke and heat.I brought my family from Texas and they were literally sweating while we ate because it was so hot in the restaurant. Let me tell you. These guys closed at 10:00PM during Whiskey Fest! Our drunks butts showed at 10:30! They still sat us, dealt... with us, PROFESSIONALLY, the kitchen stayed open and served amazing food! The side salad was served with these candied walnutson it which I'm told by the others were delicious but I'm allergic to tree nuts. They took it away and returned within 3 minuteswith a new one! Still smiling drinks remained full the ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Wasn't a fan of the rice, I'm apotato girl so wish they had a Baker option but I was so full by then you can't really complain. This place is great. Just went for cocktails and a snack. The ambience is very cozy and romantic with dim lighting and velvety touches, and tables... tucked into corners and a long bar top to cozy up to. The cocktail list is very old school, all the classics and prohibitionera. I loved that as you don't see that very often anymore. The staff were busy and efficient and friendly. If I lived nearbythis would be my spot! Read more
