Absolutely horrible got a simple number one with a moca frappe. Food was cold and just poorly made. Easy to tell its been... setting a while. Frappe was a joke not anywhere close to being filled. Went in and ordered 2 happy meals for kids and2 meals for us. Happy meals came without toys. My meal was suppose to eat... crispy chicken deluxe. I got a deluxe quarter cheese burger. Never get what order at this location. Staff were too busyplaying around. Read more
This store had the lobby closed at 8:00 pm today. You would think being in a truck stop you would stay open a little later. We... were told to go through the drive thru but that is kind of hard to do in a semi truck. There were several drivers walkingthrough Chester's to get in McDonald's when the employee ran to the door to close it in their faces. This is not a good way torun a business. I?ve lived across the street from this McDonald?s adjoined to the Loves Truck facilities ever since it was built. I must say the... quality of product and service has gone done hill steadily since. As a former restaurant manager and worker for over 30 years Iam fully aware of the inns and outs of the fast food business. I do understand many places have taken a hit due to covid.However, this particular McDonald?s needs some real help. You go in or thru the drive thru you get no greeting.. no smiles.. nothank you.. NOTHING!! It?s like a bunch of zombies work there. I was ordering inside and had to wait for a person to take myorder. No one said we?ll be right with you. Finally someone came to take my order and he didn?t apologize for my wait. As amatter of fact he didn?t say anything at all. He just stared at me.. Plus the dinning room was dirty. When I got my order I gota wrong sandwich so I had to ask for it to be switched. I had ordered a Big Mac and a quarter pounder with cheese. I got 2quarter pounders. Visiting from out of town. Pulled up to drives they said closed do to short staffing. Not an error my end. Due but that is not... even remotely the worst part. Go into lobby, order food, there were 4 people up in the front. WTH! Drive thru closed due toshort staffing. Well they did get my order wrong so when I asked them to correct they just threw everything in bag. I literallyreached in bag to only grab part of SEC McMuffin. Then it tasted weird. Like bad eggs or something. I think manager, DM andRegional has checked out on this location. So now, 15 min experience and still hungry but this will never be an option for meagain. Read more
Service here does not deserve a single star. On Nov. 21, at around 11am, I lined up in the drive-through at this location. It... is 20 Fahrenheit today in Indiana, and I had my daughter with me in the car. Since my daughter was in the car's back seat,strapped to her car seat, she could not see the menu screen at the drive-through. My daughter asked me to move a little bitcloser to the menu screen, and I did. We determined what we wanted to order, and we were pleased. Everything went downhill fromthere. I handed my credit card to the man behind the first window. He told me I needed to drive back to the line since I did notorder through the microphone and speaker. He said that he knew I was in the line, but he complained that I drove close to themenu screen and missed the microphone! But he was very the person taking the order through the microphone. I politely explainedthat I had a little child in my car; she could not see the menu from the backseat and BEGGED for him to take my credit card. Hesaid he would not!
