The food is delicious. The employees are friendly. The selection of grocery items from the Caribbean is great. The reason I'm... knocking 3 stars off is that the waiting in line is ridiculously long. There's no system for picking up the orders that wereordered by phone. It makes no sense, you might as well wait in line without pre-ordering. There is also a convenience fee forusing credit cards!!! My order was $35 and they wanted to charge $1.50. There should be no reason why this company should passon its credit card fees to its customers. I inquired about the limit to avoid the fee, but they couldn't explain. I amtremendously disappointed. Read more

I love a food adventure!!! I had no idea what type of food they served when I wondered inside in May. I asked the very nice... customer in line in front of me what type of food they served and she said it was Guyanese food. She was kind enough to makesome recommendations of what I should try. The staff was amazing!!! They were so patient as I asked more questions. Well I havenow been there 3 times! Each time the food is more DELICIOUS! Fresh ingredients and flavors that make you return for more. Myfavorites so far are the pumpkin OMG delicious! The cabbage, eggplant, and the vegetable or the chicken roiti (hope I spelledthat correctly) are so yummy. I highly RECOMMEND this restaurant!!! Read more

Sheiks has been around for several years now and I'm glad it's still standing. The lunch specials are unbeatable - although if... you are on a timed lunch scenario perhaps order ahead or go elsewhere, this is a loosely leisure lunch location meaning you'llbe spending quite some time here between waiting to order and getting your food and perhaps even waiting for a table (snag atable and have one person go up to order to secure a spot) The doubles are delicious - although they have gotten skimp withfilling and the sauces inside are only dabbed in center instead of drizzled over the chickpeas so you taste throughout allbites. The lamb biriyani was the least favorite of our orders this time around - the lamb was flavorful but a bit dry and thekids didn't enjoy fighting the meat off the bones. The roti bread itself is ALWAYS on point and a definite must to order a fewto go. The lunch roti specials are just right - one of my kids had the chicken and highly enjoyed it. I always get thevegetable roti - they ran out of potatoes and they where highly missed in the wrap, wish they would offered to have substitutedanother veggie for the lack of potatoes. The goat roti was also very delicious and highly enjoyable. They were our of localmade drinks which was a bummer since all the other options where sugary commercial drinks. Oh do try the house habanerosauce. If you can spare the time, definitely give Sheiks a try, possibly the yummiest West Indian food in Pines. The bestrecommendation I can share with the management is that the customer service can definitely improve (you can absolutely seepreferential treatment towards the West Indian & Caribbean folks over others) - if someone not of aforementioned ethnic groupschoose to bless your establishment by spending money there they should definitely get same treatment and food portions. I?ve never had sweet and sour chicken that taste as good as the one here at Sheiks Bakery. It tastes fresh every time and the... chicken is soft. The sauce is the perfect amount of sweet and sour. Once you bite the chicken you?ll taste the deliciousness andsoftness in the chickens texture. The service was polite and service was speedy. Overall, I?m impressed and highly recommendedthis place for anyone looking to have a deliciously made sweet and sour chicken. Read more

The food was very good. We ordered a large chowmein with tandoori chicken( comes with 4 pieces), a goat dhall puri and beef... roti. This was my first time eating any kind of roti and very pleased. The goat curry doesn?t come in the dhall puri due tobones but it?s so good! Next the chicken tandoori was super tender. Chow mein had good and interesting flavors. Beef roti wastasty but everything else V was better. Will definitely return. Service was kind. They didn?t have my phone order ready buttook 5 min and didn?t sit in the wraps to get soggy. Read more
