The worst Sal's location. I write this review after placing lots of orders withina 5 year span. They constantly get the orders... wrong or forget to include something. They are always closing early, and their attitude both in person and over the phone ishorrible. The corporate office should seriously look into this location and figure something out. I frequent many otherlocations (near my job and by friends and family's houses), and this location is a joke in comparison. I will no longer beordering takeout or delivery from this location. I ordered half cheese and half pepperoni. When I arrived to pick up the pizza I was given was all cheese. I decided to wait for... the pizza I ordered . When the second pizza came out of the oven , it was dropped on the floor . I asked for a refund and apizza for the inconvenience and the manager said no . Horrible Read more
I had a tough week and was craving Italian. I used to love Sals. I went all out and ordered the sampler. Nothing had any flavor... or seasonings. No garlic or oregano taste. Outstanding food and service. Not familiar with the area but I had to run some errands in the neighborhood and my kids wanted... pizza. Ordered pick up before but did delivery today. It took 2 hours from when we ordered. The pizza is normally really good but... showed up less than warm and soggy. Highly recommend for dine in or pick up, but do not do delivery. Sadly not recommended. Read more
The New Yorker: suppose to be pepperoni, sausage, fresh mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomato sauce and extra cheese. I don't... know if it really is a New Yorker, but I would've expected all ingredients to be added in a evenly manner. As shown in thepicture, there is more green peppers, and onions that can't be seen, than any other ingredients. Mushrooms and pepperoni isminimal portions per slide. Sausage is almost absent in the pizza. Pizza was rushed and was not cooked thoroughly, green pepperswere no cooked completely making feel that you are still eating a raw green pepper (hard skin). This was an unexpected surprise! Came here to grab lunch while shopping at Pembroke Gardens today and came here to eat. Great... service and food with early bird specials. Great for family gatherings with an Italian ambiance that makes the whole place feellike family dinner. Highly recommended! Read more
I hate to say that it's kind of a hit or miss with this location, the people here are friendly enough....but I've been left to... sit longer then I should waiting for food or for the bill. And the food goes from really good to just fair. I'm not sure if it'sthe dish, or the preparation....the one thing that's always good are the meatball appetizers!
