Yesterday me and my boyfriend celebrated our 5 year anniversary and Firebirds didn't disappoint! The entire staff was amazing!... Bar Manager Maddox was amazing along with our server Gretel and before Nicole and her team cooked our meal perfectly. Therestaurant was so clean and welcoming. I definitely will be back! They made my night magical and I will never forget howattentive they all were and caring that we had a magical experience. The food was PERFECTION! The food was good, the service was good then you ask why 3 stars? There were approximately 14 of us. 12 of us received our meals... and finished them before the other 2 even received their meals. You had to beg for your drinks. It was amazing. The waitress wasvery nice but overwhelmed. Dessert was served in the center of the table and people were expected to eat off the same plate.The desserts ranged depending where you sat at the table. The restaurant was very nice and ambience was great, unfortunately they were not so welcoming… their wait time was 1 hour and... 45 minutes, even though the restaurant was about 70% empty… they had 3 host at the entrance talking and joking, they knew thewait was quite long so they suggested to go to other restaurants near by… I got the impression that there was no manager onduty that day or enough people at the kitchen. My recommendation is to call ahead and verify they have availability so youdon’t waste your time. Read more

Had a reservation for a early dinner. Could only get happy hour prices on the patio or at the bar. Was seated right away hostess... was very nice. Ordered lemon drop drinks which were very good and moderately strong one was enough. I also ordered deviled eggswhich came out after my food but it was no biggie I still ate them. It was 2 of us but we ordered one dish (Surf & Turf) I lovedhow when it came out they brung 2 plates and had split the steak and mashed potatoes already. The lobster was huge and very wellcooked. Steak was a bit bland but it was cooked very good and with the garlic butter & Cajun butter added it was superb.Parmesan mashed potatoes were ok. We love Firebirds in Orlando, where we live, and go specifically for the 10 oz cut of the prime rib. So, while visiting Pembroke... Pines, we decided to go since we were driving in late and just wanted comfort food. The server was very attentive and friendlyand one of the things I liked about her is that when we sat down I pointed out that we had just driven four hours and so we werereally hungry and tired. So she took our appetizer and drink orders immediately and quickly got our order of ranch onion ringsout to us which were delicious after a long, traffic-filled drive from Orlando. She had also asked us if we wanted the loaf ofhot, fresh-baked bread, so she had that in the oven and to us ASAP! The prime rib was just as delicious as the Orlando (MillsAve.) location, and so was the fully loaded baked potatoes, which my wife and I think are the best restaurant-served versionwe’ve had. My wife had a nice glass of red wine, 8 oz, that was providing so quickly-awesome! We both had a great time. Myonly comments to the restaurant: 1.) Most payment barcodes on receipts when we cash our take Apple Pay. I had to physically typein my name, credit card number etc., in order to check out with the receipt barcode-this needs severe improvement! It needs totake auto fill info off an iPhone and also accept Apple Pay. Since the site the barcode brings one to, using iPhone’s nativeSafari browser, won’t take auto fill info for some reason, it wouldn’t even accept the auto fill credit cards from my AppleWallet, very annoying having to get the card out and type everything in. So in summary this is the first system I have ever seenlike this, so I don’t know if it’s different than the one in Orlando, because I don’t remember having to do this, butregardless every other restaurant I’ve ever been to just does Apple Pay and it’s very easy to you so please work on this.2.) The restaurant is loud. If you are looking for something private this is not it. We made a reservation. The wine is pricey. We... settled for the Prosecco. It is a busy place so our waiter was busy. I was seated very quickly when I arrived. The waiter Zachary was amazing. He made sure that me and my friend was comfortable.... The ambience was nice and Zachary suggested the lobster dip that was to die for!!! Our food came out on time and the drinks wasgood. our needs was catered to and we had a great experience.
