It's a typical strip mall Italian restaurant; like in the northeastern part of the country in NJ/NY/PA tri-state area. Great... food & small interior seating, probably has a huge take-out/to-go business. The food was excellent. I like these places becauseI grew up with them, but there's not ambience. Read more

Cmon guys. You are better than this. Meatball sandwich order 10/18 8:30pm. Dry as can be. Hardly any sauce.

Love this place! The pizza is thicker than NY Style but not too thick. The ingredients taste fresh and the service is very good.... Every time I eat Dough Boys pizza I take my first bite and I'm like "Yep. This is the perfect pizza." Read more

Expensive and not good. Could have suggested a whole pizza instead of three slices for less. Fairly rude employees. Quite... slow?over 25 minutes for slices of pizza. Dirty tables. No AC in bathroom. Despite standing there, they wouldn?t tell me myorder was ready. You will regret tipping. Read more

I ordered a large calzone, which is huge (and expensive $33.95) and it was good. I also ordered an antipasto salad . There... was a LOT of lettuce, red onion, black olives, and green peppers. The meat was very sparse. There was one circle of provoloneand salami, some pepperoni, and some pieces of ham. It was very overpriced for what was in it ($16.95). I was verydisappointed. I gave 3 stars for the calzone but I would only have given the antipasto 1 star. The staff was friendly andnice. It has been a long time since I have been there and used to love the quality of the food. I realize everything haschanged but I was not happy with my experience. Read more

My husband had the meatball sliders, loved them, especially the homemade rolls and meatballs. I had the chicken marsala pizza,... the crust was little doughy but you have to take into account the length of travel time. The flavor was delicious, could reallytaste the marsala wine sauce. Will definitely order again. Oh, the garlic pasta salad was very tasty. Read more

Would have rated this 2.5 stars, but decided to show some mercy here. For starters, the chicken parm pizza is not as good as it... may look in my picture. As another reviewer commented, their pizza is SALTY. The chicken lacked flavor, although there was adecent amount, as was the case with the amount of cheese. Their garlic rolls were good, just above average. A huge letdown wasthe dough. If you're going to call yourself "Dough Boys", make sure you get that part right! Tried the crust before theingredients, and right off the bat we knew we were in trouble. No taste, too chewy, and salty. Our group would rate the dough nohigher than 2 stars. Dominos' dough is actually better. And to those who have called this "NY style pizza", I don't know how toeven address that. It is anything but that. Maybe since it is round?? Finally, we only ate half of the pizza, and asked for abox. The very polite young man at the counter went into the kitchen to get me a box. When I get it to the table and open it,the box had been used, apparently to put a to-go order in it and cut it in the box. He promptly got me another one. On apositive note, the young men who were working the front were friendly and courteous, so no complaints there. I'll also give thisplace credit for responding to negative reviews, which I really appreciate. Although frankly, their response is somewhat canned, and something like, "Sorry you had a bad experience. We will learn from this and strive to do better." But I gave them 3 starsinstead of 2 because of their responses and the attention of the staff today. Will we go back? We think so, as they deserveanother chance. But next time our expectations will be pretty low. Read more
