This isn't my first time dealing with this restaurant as myself and coworkers are frequent flyers to this hotel for work in the... area. Once upon a time a few years back this restaurant actually made delicious food. Where we would actually eat in it everynight. Ever since the new "chef" came in with his new menu, you will rarely see us eat here, let alone order anything aside fromthe chicken wings. Shepherds Pie is beyond overpriced. Where have you ever seen a smoked meat sandwich where the stack of meatwas less than 1/2 an inch thick? Caesar salad with red onions and a caesar dressing that looks and smells more like a hybrid ofa vinaigrette and beef broth. "Classic" poutine comes with gravy, curds, scallions and crispy onions?? Yet call it a classic. Ifyou're looking for a good pizza you'd be wise to go find the Pizzaforno machine in town. Classic case of a chef trying to overglamorize already delicious dishes with a poorly executed twist. I do not recommend this restaurant anymore as it has changedfor the worse. Charcuterie appetizer was a joke. Chicken sandwich was off, chicken had a slimy texture. Processed frozen chicken rather than... fresh? Side salad with no dressing, gross. Overall the meal wasn't worth what they charged, it was actually disgusting. Totalwaste of $40-$45 with delivery. Read more
I was at the restaurant on September 2nd 2022 for a sixteeth wedding anniversary. Everything was fantastic, especially our... waiter Christian who was exceptional. We never had to wait for anything and he was always checking in on us as well as takingcare of his other customers. Very pleased with everything. Read more
All those who work there act as though they would rather be elsewhere. We see it as much in the service as in the food. You'll... never see us dining here again. The nachos were horribly untraditional, with squirts of mayo on top, black pepper on all thechips, and green slime in the pizza cheese (for nachos?!). Need I add no shallots nor jalapeno in this staple entrée, butyellow pepper and Spanish onion? No salsa available excused the although friendly waitress... but no service for filling waterand drinks and taking finished plates away (ever!!). Great experience a few days ago. Our server went above and beyond when he didnt have a dessert we had ordered available, gave us... an alternate and delicious dessert on the house. Fantastic customer service! Highly recommend this restaurant, everything wasfresh and delicious! Read more
Not happy at all, yes it is a hotel restaurant, but charging $25.00 for a Sheppard's Pie is insulting! The owners should be... ashamed to price gouge! Will NEVER order/dine here again! Read more
Just had my first experience at Westwinds, and I?m honestly already looking forward to going back! As someone who has previously... worked as a server/ bartender, I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to service. Absolutely superb service from our serverLaurie, she was so sweet! Chef Jon even came to our table to say hello, and to make sure we were enjoying everything. They bothwent out of their way to make us feel so welcome. Such great staff! :) Our food was delivered in a timely manner, and wasdelicious!! Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much for a lovely lunch! Keep up the great work! Read more
The food is delicious. The service is always pleasant and attentive. I enjoy dining here, and I will continue to do so!
