Excellent seafood restaurant. This was my first visit to The Juicy Crab. I had the fried shrimp basket with onion rings.... Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I did notice that tables being bussedwere also being sanitized as well as the laminated menus. Prices are moderate and affordable. Wow. Best seafood I have had in a while counting my last two trips to Florida. Seasoning was something special. I got the Juicy... that was a combination of garlic butter, lemon pepper and Cajun. Food here really wasn't that good. Our service was very poor. I believe I saw two maybe three servers in the entire restaurant.... On more than one occasion my son had to find someone to request a refill. The environment compliments the theme for the overallrestaurant but I wish they would focus on food and better customer service. I doubt I will return to this restaurant again. Read more
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this seafood restaurant if you enjoy great quality, tasting seafood and drinks at reasonable prices (based on... the current market). This restaurant has held up even through CoVID era, and their quality has never seized. Thewaiters/waitresses are real thorough and polite. And of all the seafood places I?ve had been to from California to the south,this place is one of my top 3. Give it a shot but keep in mind there is a wait for a table because it?s THAT great! After driving by this location a few times I decided to try it out. I walked in and was seated promptly. The server assisted me... in selecting what turned out to be a fantastic meal. I ordered the daily special with 1/2 lb snow crab, 1/2 lb crawfish, 1/2 lbheadless shrimp, plus corn on the cob and two potatoes with medium cajun seasoning. When I saw this large cooking bag of foodheading my way, I thought I would have to take half of it home. That didn't happen because I enjoyed every bite, but did notfeel like I ate too much. My food was over cooked. I took one small bite out of my lobster and let me tell you it wasnt good to be soo small it was tough.... The rest of the malnutrition seafood was completely over cooked. My potato was mushy . I sent my food back and they sent thehalf lobster that I sent back to the kitchen right back out here. With less food. This was 40.00 wasted. Needless to say I willnot be back. We were passing through, and decided to stop here for dinner. The prices were actually a bit lower than our usual crab boil... places. We paid $86 for 2 lbs of snow crab + 1/2 head off shrimp + 2 eggs. We got the juicy mix seasoning. Very tasty! And theservice was great as well. We'd definitely eat here again, if we were locals.
