Good customers service and mellow environment. Food tastes ok.
Food and service were subpar. Drinks were not proportionately made, ordered an old fashion and got lots of liquor instead of a... cocktail. The bandeja paisa, a staple in any Colombian restaurant was bland in taste and not good at all. Our food took anhour to get to us. When we made reservations we weren't told that there would be a private child's party and that unfortunatelymade the night feel rushed as they didn't not mention it, but started decorating tables around us and were quick to get us out. I came to eat here with my friends but we were all very disappointed. First off we waited for a long time to get our food on a... weekday night. Then my friend and I ordered the bistec encebollado but it was hard and filled with more onions than steak.Lastly I ordered an arepa con queso to go for my girlfriend and when I got home it looked like a tortilla with packaged slicedcheese. most of the food was okay. the steak, soup, and the empanadas were good, but the rice was stale. it was definitely in the fridge... and they just heated it up. the service was terrible! the waiter didn't clear our table of plates, never asked to refill ourglasses, and took a long time to bring out drinks that were on the counter. im not sure if he was new or distracted, but eitherway the service was really disappointing and everything took so long. it was not busy at all either. other than that thelocation and ambiance was nice; don't know if i'll be back again though. In my quest to find crispy corn empanadas, I found this gem online! So glad I stopped by! The owners are so kind. The food was... very good. The empanadas were EXACTLY what I was looking for!!!!!
