My group of 5 were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! We ordered the crispy cauliflower tots, crispy string... beans,garlic shrimp crostini, chicken arrabiatta & my personal favorite, beet salad. We had them put it all in the middle and wegot to taste all of them. So delicious and hearty sizes. Next we went into ballroom for an annual shareholders meeting. Verypretty decor and great service! I truly cannot recommend this venue enough for weddings (and the restaurant is amazing too)! Not only is the location beautiful... and affordable, but Evan is an incredibly helpful event coordinator who took our wedding beyond our expectations. Our guestswere raving about the amount and quality of the food as well as the pacing of the evening. Evan was available on his cell phonewhenever I had any questions no matter how big or small. He was the most attentive maitre d? on the day of the wedding and madesure everything went smoothly for us. My husband and I are so grateful for Evan and the Cortlandt Colonial! Read more

Was a guest here at a wedding recently. Smaller venue. I was surprised how nice the outside area of ballroom was. Beautiful... arrangers outside. Beautiful scenery for photos including a small waterfall, lots of flowers, and a high cliffs background. Foodwas delicious as well. Steak was cooked to order and was very good. Chicken cordon Blu was selected as th3 chicken entree andwas one of the best chicken served at a wedding that I can recall. Fantastic venue, service, and food. Highly recommend. Read more

I recently attended a wedding here...and while I'm biased as to the beauty of the ceremony itself...this venue definitely... contributed. Gorgeous architecture, superb lighting, spacious areas...friendly staff (I'd met hired for event and actualemployees and can't differentiate between). I attended a wedding reception. The food during cocktail hour was good but cold. The dinner was very nicely cooked. I had... salmon which was light, tender and flakey. The decor was fine. The semi enclosed outdoor space was lovely with the naturalwaterfall so beautiful to look at. It was a chilly day so I didnt spend much time in the outdoor area. Cortlandt Colonial Manor is the BEST! Evan and his staff were fantastic and knew what we needed before we did! We heard many... enthusiastic comments from our guests about the fabulous cocktail hour (Yep! Those muscles were a hit!) When we were served ourmain course, the portions were generous, and the prime rib was cooked to order and rivaled steak house fair. The covered outdoorcocktail hour took all our worries about the weather away. The grounds are beautiful, and every guest was able to gravitate toan area where they were most comfortable; whether it was on the dance floor or outside at a café table beneath the waterfall.The photographer never had to say ?Smile!? because everyone was having such a great time, we never stopped smiling!
