Reviews for Frankies at the Casanova in Pecos, NM
Suzie Fares here. Well this was my second time for breakfast. I had a delicious burrito with sausage and green Chili (potatoes... ) hold the egg. lol. I have to say that this is the best place to eat in Pecos and it's prices are reasonable. I won't go toSanta Fe when I can get a good meal close to home . Dinner every time has been absolutely great. The Salad my friend had lookedlike a Fiesta with all the colored peppers around the plate. Both other friend ordered the fish and I had the shrimp. Delicious ????. I can't wait for dinner hours to start. Those shrimp have been unforgettable. Nice cold Modello Especialserved and I highly recommend you try this place. Green Chili is delicious and not hot hot Tried the red as a sample today. Was very good not hot hot also. Congratulations and keep up the good work. My favorite waiter was there also. Took the dog satoutside and felt welcomed by the owner who comes out and says hi to everyone. Read more
We had a great breakfast at Frankie's. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty, the breakfast burrito disappeared before I got a... taste, but it looked great and my chicken enchiladas were very good. Frankie's has been a local Pecos area favorite for years. Terrific red and green chile (available for purchase by the quart) and... an extensive and ample breakfast menu make it an especially worthwhile weekend stop. The buttermilk pancakes and perfectlyprepared bacon are notable, too. Frankie's is also open for lunch and dinner The ambience in the historic former dance hall iswonderful, with paintings of old-time dancers and rowdy cowboys and antique horse paraphernalia lining the walls. On coldmornings and evenings, there's often a fire in the fireplace to take the chill off. In warm weather, there are outdoor tablesoff to the side and on the front porch. Call in advance for current hours/days open Read more
A welcomed treat after spending time at the Pecos National Monument. Unassuming on the outside, inside is straight out of a... western novel. Ordered the green chile/chicken enchilada casserole. Good..but, for my New Mexican taste buds needs a bit morefire. We were a group of 10 - service was fast, friendly and deserving of praise. Other meals ordered were just as attentiongetting. Group was 100% happy. Definitely would be a return customer. Read more

Frankies is a family tradition. When we come to town our trip is not complete until we hit Frankie's for a bowl of green chili... stew. I always buy at least 6 jars of red and green sauce to lug home to St Louis. Always the best and most anticipated part ofour vacations Read more
