This place has been on my 'want to go' list forever, and I finally made it! There was a line when we went, but the staff got... through the people in a timely manner. Some people may think this place is a little pricey, but they give you plenty of food. Ihad baked chicken, greens, okra and tomatoes, corn, and cornbread on the side---ALL OF IT W A S DELICIOUS! I can't say enough good things about the food here! The portions are so big you can make two meals!! The meatloaf is smothered... on a bed of rice and not lacking in flavor. Collard greens, green beans, okra and tomatoes, all AMAZING! No salt and pepperneeded! True soul food, like straight from grandma's kitchen! I stopped by here after church today and ordered through the drive through. I ordered baked chicken with okra and tomatoes,... mashed potatoes and green beans. I really enjoyed my meal, I believe my favorite thing was the okra and tomatoes although it hadbacon and a little greasy (which I removed). My least favorite was the mashed potatoes. Believe the reviews and just skip out onthose, they are very thick. Overall, it was good and definitely tasted like soul food. I will definitely be giving them anothertry soon! ???????? Read more

This is my first time to come here and I am highly impressed. The service is great, staff is friendly and the food is the best... soul food I have ever had. If you haven’t tried this yet, you are missing out! You get a lot of food for a great price.Everyone should experience the joy this place just brought me. Mikki's Soul Food Cafe Pearland location drive through microphone continuously cut out so Fantasia couldn't hear order yet I... heard her laughing and others in the background clearly speaking. No worries. The Peach Cobbler lacked Pie crust breading makingit taste like sugar and applesauce consistency receipt #105. The portion amounts are good based on prices but the food was blandwith no Soul! The mashed potatoes had no gravy, tasted like dumplings seriously and had thickened play dough texture! Sodisappointed! The stalks on the Collards were huge and not discarded but cooked! I toss stems! The chicken was so dry itcouldn't be eaten! The macaroni cheese added to the sadness and the cornbread crumbled! The cornbread was flat, crumbled, anddid not rise? The receipts show what was ordered but not Our dissatisfaction with both meals. The Red Velvet cake was moist sothat's why they received two stars. Won't make this miss take again Mikki's. Online order prices are lower than drive throughposted prices! Be aware. Three (3) days later??????????????? My Family and I are EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED and DISAPPOINTED???? After waiting almost FOUR... (4) HOURS to place a order, we was “SLAPPED” with INCREASED PRICING.???????? We called your establishment to confirmavailability and pricing, only to be asked by a RUDE and NASTY female employee, “you don’t see the prices on ourwebsite??“???????????? It’s OBVIOUS during the extended wait time, the chitterlings was “THROWN TOGETHER” because theyare tough and lacking flavor. We ordered: three (3) chitterlings plates with two (2) sides of sweet potatoes and one (1) side ofcabbage on each, one (1) white meat fried chicken plate with two (2) sides of macaroni and cheese and one (1) side of sweetpotatoes, two (2) chicken and shrimp fettuccine plates with two (2) sides of sweet potatoes and one (1) order of peach cobbler.What we received is what is featured in the images below. Horrible! First and last will not return, so called pepper steak was not cooked and the cake either old or over baked it was dry... and crumbly. And you cannot get a refund, but they want to give you more food, why would I want different when what i returnedwas half cooked.... Read more
