First time visiting here, had to try the "knuckle sandwich" and got the smoked wings as an app. Both were great, the lobster... roll was very good, maybe not $32 good but very good. The smoked wings also were great. The only letdown was the garlic fries.Essentially regular fries with what seemed like jarred minced garlic. I'm a garlic fan but it was a bit much for me. We were curious what took the place of King's biergarten so we decided to check this place out. We went for lunch on a Saturday,... it was not very busy. The service was good. Our server and the food runners were very polite and helpful. We got oysters toshare for the table, I got the tiki sunrise burger with onion rings, and the rest of my party got the fish and chips, wings(buffalo and Thai chili), and a red wine burger. I thought my burger was a little dry. I had a taste of each of the others and Ithink they were better. The fish and chips was good, the wings were juicy! I thought the prices were a bit on the high side butmaybe I need to recalibrate my expectations these days. +$2 to substitute onion rings and I got 5 rings. +$6 to substitutetruffle fries but it was just a side of sauce (pretty tasty though). Overall, it seems like they're just trying to do a lot ofthings (from the look of their menu) and I feel like they do it all...fine. Separate note: we chose to sit inside because it wasdisgustingly hot outside but we did check out their outdoor seating area after and they do a good job of keeping it cool! Nice atmosphere, patio dinning was nice when it's cool in evening. Had TV outside to watch the Astros. Appetizers were good,... thumbs up, food was so-so, could be better. Read more
Great flavor! They have a late Sunday brunch menu and we got to enjoy our meal on the outdoor patio. Service was very attentive.... The giant pretzels were tasty. They weren't King's, but a tasty nod to the institution populating this spot before it was GoodVibes. The shrimp n grits had great flavor and the grits had a nice, creamy consistency. I'll try them again... Would have likedmore shrimp for the $$ but we did come in late, so we'll give it another shot in case our timing influenced this somehow. Thegirls ???? loved their burgers. Every time I drive by this place there parking lot is typically filled up. This was my first time visiting this establishment,... friendly service at the hostess station, we asked if the heaters were on outside and told they were but somehow got one of theonly tables that didn’t have a heater near it so it was a little chilly to sit outside. The food was good everyone I waswith enjoy their food which ranged from Oysters, Burgers, Wings and Crawfish. I had a beer while my friends had cocktails thatthey said all taste good. Seemed like they might have been a little short handed as it took longer than expected for drinks tocome from the bar. I’ll be back. Read more
Loved my experience today at good vibes. It was our first time in and everyone was friendly and the place itself is so cute and... beachy. We loved the food. We got the deviled eggs and the smoked salmon ones were to die for. I ordered the red wine burger andit was delicious and different even a little sweet. The portion sizes are huge. The atmosphere was great at good vibes. The drinks were good and very pretty. Love the flowers. It was my first visit my... husband’s second visit. Today we had oysters. The oyster Rockefeller and garlic butter with crab meat. The Rockefeller was OKbut we have had better elsewhere. However, we are still looking forward to visiting again in the near future with friends. Thestaff was very nice and other guest were very friendly. Had a nice time at the outside bar area. Read more
