I love going to the waffle house, but the one l went to today was not that great. We walked in, and no one greeted us, so we... stood and waited to be seated. After waiting a few minutes and looking around blank-faced, a lady finally told us to sit whereever you wanted. I went to the restroom; the trashcan was overflowing with trash, garbage was in the sink, and it smelled weird.The kitchen area had napkins all over the counters and on the floor. I also noticed the cooks were not wearing hair nets. Afterreceiving our food, the hashbrowns were not cooked thoroughly; basically, it was raw. Eggs also could have been cooked more, andone waffle was burnt. One of us asked for grits originally, but the waitress told us, "I wouldn't get that if I were you," in somany words. This has become my favorite breakfast place. I gave up on the other two pancake houses I usually go to because at waffle house... the ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere feels very old fashioned. Read more
filthy, flies kept landing on me and the food. workers leave tables uncleaned until next customer arrives. food gets brushed off... the tables on to the floor. I've seen cleaner diners in central africa. wouldn't recommend to anyone Read more
The food was good. We had a new server but he did a good job. But the other workers in there were awful. One by the name of... Angie and another shorter white lady were absolutely unpleasant. They complained and bad talked customers trying to come in andeat. But they were still cooking food for other people......but were not taking to go orders or new customers. They turned awayabout 10 people if not more. Complained about having to work doubles. There were 4 of them in there. As a managermyself......in my opinion......you can pick up the slack. If your employees aren't showing up..... fire them and hire others.And said If the customers didn't like it they could go find another waffle house to eat at. It was awful sitting there trying toeat with my family and they only had awful things to say. I am going to stop going to this waffle house. I'll stick with goingto the ones in brandon. Read more
There were 7 dirty tables and 2 waiters were standing around we waited for 20 minutes because two did not wantvto clear the bar... or table. There were two other tables that sooner left and those were not cleared. The manager finally asked one girl to cleara table for us. She was reluctant and had a sour face about it. The one at th register said she would do it but she wasringing out customers do the other girl clearing stopped and the managers said for her to do it. Then the girl got an even morespur face. Clearly there is no structure of helping each other. This is why busy restaurants have a tip jar. You can hand themyour tip personally but the jar is toshare or the manager can raje notice and bonus the waiters who are extra helpful. Read more
I've never been to a waffle house before until now. My man Tristen was the manager at the moment and him and his crew served my... wife and I some good ole southern hospitality. Can't wait to eat here again next year! Read more
My favorite unit! I absolutely adore Dawn and Lisa! Known the girls for years! Great conversation. Great food. Excellent coffee!
When you come in you know already how filthy this place. The kitchen looks like not been clean forever. See photo attached and... even the coffee mug still have lipstick mark on it. Disgusting waffle house I ever been.... We didn't eat I can't stand eatingthis place. Read more
