I've been driving past JR's for years and finally made an effort to go for breakfast. I'm mad at myself for not going years ago... I've been missing out. JR's is everything I love about a southern country breakfast. Not being a huge meat eater I appreciatethe omelets, biscuits and gravy and plate sized pancakes. The staff have been great and the restaurant is clean and smoke free. There is also plenty of parking and seating. Give them a try. Read more

My wife asked me to write this one. She placed a huge order the morning of an training day at her work to feed 20 big guys. They... ordered one of the catering packages. The person on the phone was super helpful. When she went to pick it up the same personchecked off the list and had everything perfectly prepared for her. They included everything you would ever need to feed peopleincluding tongs and spoons for serving. They helped load it in her car and everything. She was super happy and plans on makingthis a normal stop for her and her company. She thinks the person that helped her was named Edward and he was amazing. Very kindand helpful. The food was delicious and a great selection of down south home cooking. Our server had other things going on because nobody... could seem to find her. We used JR's catering for our neighborhood 4th of July BBQ. We couldn't have been more pleased and impressed!! We are in... Suwanee so most of the neighbors have not dined at JR's before...it was new to them. EVERYONE remarked how delicious the foodwas. Definitely worth the extra distance. Nice little sit down BBQ place. They also do a meat and 2 if you want something else. It?s a nice rustic interior, always... pretty crowded, but the service is still good. The parking lot is huge, but gets nearly full during the lunch rush, get here alittle early to save a few minutes. Read more

Ordered takeout - 1 meat / 3 sides and Brunswick stew. Sliced pork was very dry. The cats liked it at least. Collard greens and... spinach were delicious. Fried okra was soggy and greasy. Probably because they wrapped it up in foil. Brunswick stew was great????. Only one small bbq sauce container. If ordering take out ask for extra sauce and bread since no bread was included. Didhave crackers for the stew. Service was quick and friendly. Place only had a few customers there at that time. Will try theirpot roast next time. ?---------? I had the fried chicken tender salad with the homemade ranch dressing and it was sooooo good! I have a place to come and visit... every time I'm in Atlanta and the service by my waitress Miranda was awesome!
