After a previous bad experience with service and food decided to give it another shot since it had been about year, and we like... to try to support local especially with how things are now. Unfortunately, this time wasn?t much better than the first. Iunderstand times are hard with staffing and finding good help, but the service was downright awful. We were seated right awaywhich was great, but then took a while to get acknowledged and drinks brought. Had to prompt ordering food. The server was youngand obviously inexperienced so I give a little grace there but her attitude was downright awful and she won?t get very far inthe service industry with an attitude like that. She messed up our order then proceeded to argue with me about it. She stormedoff and had what id equate a little tantrum like my kids would have when something doesn?t go their way and they sulk. Sherefused to come back to the table so another server who was much friendlier at least had to take over. The only time she cameback was to throw our bill down on the table and walk off. Our mouths literally dropped open and then at that point all we coulddo was laugh about what a disaster the whole meal had been. The only thing edible I ate was the fresh mozzarella. The meatballsliterally tasted like a ball of ground beef with watery red sauce. Zero flavor. I tried to salt as much as I could but it didn?thelp. The food was brought out at different times and some brought out as others were finishing. An item that was forgotten andreminded about was literally brought out on a side plate after all the plates were cleared and we were done! $75 for a meal thatwas mostly inedible is frustrating and disappointing. We could have chosen to go to any other restaurant but decided to givethis place one more try, but will not make that mistake again. After reading reviews it would seem we aren?t the only ones withthis type of experience which is unfortunate, but maybe others will have a better experience t Read more

Bottom line: delicious authentic Italian food that is absolutely worth trying. My family got a mix of pasta plates and each of... them made us want to keep eating. The menu has lots of options so everyone could find something they wanted easily. We also gota cheese-topped bruschetta appetizer that didn't last long on the table, I could have just keep eating that and been fine. Wineselection was simple which I appreciated, I don't like being overwhelmed with a hundred wine options. The staff and owners werevery friendly and attentive. Seating time was immediate and service time normal for a sit-down dinner (we were there on aTuesday at 7pm). They even have some toys for young children. Definitely a family feel and we will visit again. Read more

Very disappointed how this place has gone downhill. I ordered the Polpette della Nonna, which is "Three classic large 100%... angus beef meatballs with our homemade marinara and topped with parmesan". When they brought it out, the waitress said "here isyour plant based meatballs". I told her I ordered the beef meatballs, which she then argued that I pointed to the plant basedone which has a completely different name ("Polpette al Pomodoro") and in a separate section of the menu. She ended up takingthe plate back, saying she would fix it, and a "new" plate was brought out a few minutes later. I had my suspicions that theydidn't make any effort to give me the correct meatballs because it takes a long time to cook meatballs to temperature. I cutinto one meatball and my suspicions were confirmed when I did not taste beef and was met with the unpleasant texture of plantbased beef. The waitress had simply taken the meatballs off the plate, put them under the broiler for a few minutes, and thentopped them with more sauce and parmesan. The dish also says it comes with roasted potatoes and vegetables, but these vegetablesare steamed or boiled, definitely not roasted. Also, the wine we were poured had chunks of cork floating in several glasses. Ifthis place lived up to the arrogance of the owner, the quality of the food and service would be top notch instead of below subpar. Read more

The pizza is really good and I'm only giving it four stars because I had a door dash order that ended up not hot at all. So I'll... have to try again picking up myself because the flavor was still good when I was reheating the food. Read more

Being at Borgo Italia was nothing short of an experience. The live accordion being played throughout our dinner. Delightful... Italian wine. Fresh & might I say absolutely delicious Italian Bread.? Laughter from the Italian family that owns and runs therestaurant in the background. It has all the makings of a night to remember forever... There was one thing tho......the foodwas...okay. It was okay, Which was a bit of a let down considering how amazing the actual experience of being in thisrestaurant was. The music, the wine, the attentive staff, the overall Italian family feel was a TEN! The food was 4 out of 5stars for my husband and I's taste. The overall experience was a 5 out of 5. I would suggest anyone who is looking for agenuine Italian experience to come check this spot out. ~LiveThruTaste Read more

This restaurant is a real treasure. I have now been twice and I have enjoyed both experiences. The place is family owned and... they put everything into their business. I have seen the whole family there both times and they do everything from front ofhouse to cooking. The food is delicious and from what I can tell pretty authentic. I went on a Friday night this go around andthey had live entertainment which made the mood even nicer and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time. They don?t have a fullbar so make sure you go there with that expectation but enjoy their imported beer and large wine selection. Will be back :)also, anything lobster related there is amazing. The place is charming. The owner was around, and he was completely awesome. He made us feel special. The waitresses were also... pretty nice. We're not giving 5 stars because, although the food was good, it wasn't spectacular. We think there is still roomfor improvement flavor-wise ???? Read more
