We have been here several times and every time had a great burger cooked on an outside grill. The staff is friendly and they... have live music outside on a nice stage in the courtyard area. This is the place to stop when you are exploring the mountains orRoosevelt lake. They have a history here too. Jakes corner was featured in a major motion picture. You owe it to yourself tostop in this place to recharge on the way home from one of your adventures. I should mention the adult beverages are well made. Read more

We went to the lake and got a recommendation to go here. We were not disappointed!! The restaurant has some really good food and... is super cool. I had driven by Jakes Corner Bar for years on my way to Payson and decided to stop by. I met the owner, Lucille, who was... incredibly nice! She said the music on the weekends was really good so I'm going to have to go back and spend the night inPayson to hear the music! While I was walking around I went outside and they were cooking meat on the grill. WOW, the aroma wasvery enticing to stay and eat but I did have to go. I already have plans to visit soon and have lunch there. The atmosphere isso inviting and everyone including the guests were friendly and ready to pull up a chair for me to visit. Take a little extratime on your way to Payson and turn off on Route 188 to enjoy Jakes Corner Bar. Read more

Pretty slow for biz, but there was about ten people listening to the solo guitar man in the beer garden. Beer was cold and they... had burgers and bar food available. There was a general store with gasoline and a RV park as well. Read more
