Reviews for Frank's & Frank's Outback in Pawleys Island, SC
Pretty good spot if you’re looking for some good seafood and food in general. The fish bites are nicely fried fresh fish... served with an excellent dipping sauce. I also really liked their ribs. The salad itself was very OK and looked like somethingyou would get in a cafeteria. Read more
Lovely experience on the patio. Such a great atmosphere. Sitting outside under the sea grape next to a fountain was awesome!...
Great pizza too. Shown is the fried green tomato stack, pimento cheese, basil pesto, onion jam and balsamic reduction.
Frank’s was so delicious & perfect for my birthday dinner. Our waiter Mike Y was just amazing. The food was great, the dessert... even better (12 layer Carmel Cake) & the atmosphere was wonderful. Read more
My first time at Frank's, and I truly hope it won't be my last. What a gem of a restaurant! Our server, Michael helped to make... our evening fantastic. Best Old Fashioned I've ever had! Great food, great service! Read more
I've been here many times, 1st time in the outback. Wanted to try their wood fired pizza, did not disappoint. Lauren was an... excellent server. Read more
Beautiful outdoor seating, impeccable service and tasty menu. Specials are always fresh with many locally sourced ingredients... and local flavors. Make a reservation well in advance especially for outdoor seating. Many bar areas located inside and out.Inside dining is cozy. If you're a steak lover, try the NY strip special. If vegetarian, the vegetable plate is always full ofseasonal selections. Expect to spend $$ but so worth it! Read more
Great ambiance and service. We had a large birthday table and very accommodating. Great outdoor seating. The food was very... good- best I’ve ever had, no. I think some of the better dishes were the pizza I tried, the GOOP and the caramel cake. Idon’t think I would get bowl of soul again- just didn’t hit the flavor profiles I was expecting and chicken was more asofter fried tender than a piece of southern fried chicken. I also would pass on the Brussels salad- just didn’t do it for me(needed to be dressed a bit more) and I also would have preferred the prosciutto to not be a large chunk on the salad. Read more
They have a big parking lot on the side and the back of the restaurant so you don't have to worry about parking space. We're in... Pawsley Island for vacation and the restaurant is really close by. The place is easy to get crowded even on a weekday night soreservation is highly recommended. The dining area inside are cozy but the outdoor dining area looks very nice too. It's closeto Halloween so the decor around the restaurant follows that theme. Good food and nice ambience. We had: - Fried oysters: itwas okay. - Bahamian sautéed conch: the sauce of this dish is delicious but you won't taste the conch meat as much since itmixed too well with fried batter. - Grilled 6 Ounce Filet of Beef: the red wine sauce substitute is very good. - Fish of theday-pan seared flounder: very tender and tasty - Chocolate brownie and vanilla icecream for dessert: togo Our server is veryfriendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. He had the bar mixed up a delicious mocktail for me, suggested a nicesauce to substitute with the sauce that go with the beef since my boyfriend doesn't like blue cheese. He also packed theleftover with special paper layer so it doesn't leak through the paper togo box. He also suggest the dessert for togo since wewere too full but still want to try the dessert. All in all, we had a very good experience. We will definitely come back whenwe're in town the next time. Read more
