Amazing view and great food. Got a last minute reservation and was extremely happy with the hospitality of the staff.
Seated in the reservation only part, not the downstairs cafe. went to wrong part when we came in but they clearly saw we were... dressed for upstairs. Cindy was our waitress and a absolute doll. Very knowledgeable, great server. We had the shrimp andrisotto app, amazing. i got the surf and turf special and she got the halibut special, absolutely amazing. finished withdeserts. watched the sunset. only downside is my marg i ordered was 99% tequila, had to ask for more syrup so i wasn'tdrinking straight up fire fuel :) Read more
Terrible Server, good food. The woman who was our server was rude and dismissive. It made what would have been a great... relaxing meal, into one of dreading our next interaction with this woman, who says she has worked at the restaurant for quitesome time. The "Ring of fire scallops and shrimp" was described on the menu as being spicy, It was not. It was rather sweet,which actually was pretty good. If you are looking for a relaxing meal I would strongly suggest another dining establishment. Read more
I really wanted to like this place because the view was amazing and both the appetizers and drinks were delicious. However, when... it came down to the main course, our meals were very disappointing. My boyfriend and I went the day after Valentine's Day and heordered their veal special while I had the grilled lamb chops that's regularly on their menu. At first glance, the meals don'tlook very different, so I couldn't really tell what was so special about the veal other than the type of meat. Since I didn'ttry his dish, I can't say much for the special dish. The sides on my dish were fine, but my issue came with the sauce on thelamb chops. It was sickly sweet to the point that I couldn't finish it, which is saying something because I always try to finisheverything on my plate despite whether I like it or not. Celebrated our granddaughter?s birthday at Oceans One. We were seated at a window overlooking the ocean. The view was... spectacular! The food was exquisitely prepared. I had the beef tenderloin and husband had the Ring of Fire. He and I bothhighly recommend both dishes. Granddaughter had the crab cake which was also delicious. Always a lovely dinner. The angry Mac and cheese was my favorite. Soooo good. Also had the filet with mashed potatoes and shaved... Brussels. All very tasty. The brussels were fantastic. For dessert we got the chocolate cake and salted caramel ice cream. Thetwo together were outstanding. Service was good considering there was one person handling the entire restaurant. So we visited the Cabana Cafe yesterday for lunch. Food was good. Service was good but I no longer trust them. I ordered a fried... seafood platter. After a few minutes the server came to the table and informed me that they were out of flounder and asked if itwould be okay to replace it with grouper. I said that was fine. Meal arrived with three small shrimp, three smaller oysters, anda piece of fried grouper. It was all tasty. Menu price was $22 but the charge was $25. When I asked the waiter why, he indicatedit was because of the grouper! Nothing was said about the price being higher but I wondered if they had cut portion sizebecause of the grouper. Server was unapologetic about not disclosing the price increase. It's only three bucks but it's theprinciple. Management should be ashamed of this! Read more
