The California diner was one of the best diners in the area. Went recently for breakfast. Totally disappointed. Home fries... tasted like they were from the day before. Some were hard to the point of being burnt to potatoes that weren't even cooked. Eggswere not cooked through. Waitress was very nice. Going to take a break from this diner. Read more
Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on a Thursday, mid-day. Fairly empty and quiet. First impression, appeared very clean.... Disappointed in the size of the menu - it was basically a foldover, nothing like any other Diner with unlimited options. Iordered the Eggs Benedict with Corned Beef Hash. Served on an English muffin, layer of Corned Beef hash, poached eggs withhollandaise sauce. Pretty good. Home fries were cooked nicely, but bland. My husband had the Hamburger Patty melt with bacon andcrispy onions, he enjoyed it. Food was decent, Katherine was our server, very pleasant. Based on the limited menu, we're notcurious enough to return and try dinner. Read more

Little pricey not too much. All's good food, service. Best potato salad I had ever was in a diner (in) California!!! , not this... one.. hope they read this and make their's awesome. Great dessert and fair prices. The sandwiches are huge and pretty good too. Definitely will go back.

We ate here last year and were impressed. The food was average but was enhanced by the reasonable prices throughout. Good... service. Update. We had the dinner specials and a carafe of wine. Add a star for bang for buck value. Read more
This used to be my go to diner. I'm sure it's fine at 3am for some munchie food but their food just seems to have gone down... hill. A simple grilled cheese sandwich with tomato was mediocre at best. Over use in salt. Service staff friendly.. the kitchenjust needs work. Shame because nice people. If I HAD to go again I'd probably just stick to the basics, french toast, waffles,or pancakes.
