Asian fusion but flavors were confused? We got 2 bird boxes - original, sweet heat, blackbird, and patchog. All were ok except... patchog?s pork was to dry, nothing really special or unique flavor combos. They all had a lot of spicy mayo to dress it whichwas unfortunate. The fries were crispy and had a bit too much 5 spice. We also got Brussels sprouts which had too much soy sauceseasoning and raisins in my opinion. Great crispiness to them though. The baos itself were a bit too wet of a consistency. Theyalso ran out of peanut noodles 30 minutes after opening on a Sunday?? Honestly wouldn?t come back because it really just wasnot good, for my tastebuds at least. On the other hand, this is a great place for introducing people to Asian cuisine. Servicewas lovely though! I love trying something different and this place did not disappoint. I saw a couple leaving and I asked them how was the food. ... They loved it so I gave it a try. I got the Bao box with the sweet heat and the Nashville hot with the 5 spice fries. Everything was delicious! The sweet heat was my favorite and the fries were amazing. If you like seasoned fries you MUST trythese. The place is clean & staff was very friendly. I love that the menu is simple! I plan to go back very soon to trysomething else. Read more

What a nice little take out/fast eat place in Patchogue. These interesting, little, delicious sandwiches are very good. Made... with bao, a dumpling like bread/wrap, it is filling and delicious. The chicken was dark meat, fried to a crisp. Very good saucesand flavors of the sandwich. Mostly everything is made with peanut oil so you do have to ask for no peanut. The Nashville andthe Blackbird are delicious. A bird box is two small sandwiches with fries (spicy or plain, both are good) and a thirstquenching Limeaide made fresh. A good stop to eat before a night out on the Patchogue Village bar scene or a quick lunch. Goenjoy and tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya! Read more

I had the Nutty Professor and the Slaw both absolutely delicious! Fresh and quality ingredients are importantto me. The portion size was also perfect. Tasty affordable Korean sandwiches on a sweet bun with plenty of food options. Everything is freshly made and is worth trying. ... All sandwiches are a work of art. Staff manages the place well because the place is clean, and the service is quick. Foodusually comes within 10 minutes after ordering. My favorite is The Patchog, whose main ingredient is pork belly. TheBlackbird is also good. It?s main ingredients are crispy chicken, black sesame and black vinegar glaze. My least favorite isThe Nutty Professor, whose main ingredients are crispy tofu, peanuts and peanut sauce. The sandwich is too bland. I highlyrecommend this place if you are ever on the South Shore. It is a good place to bring a date or a group of friends withouthesitation for lunch or dinner. However, the place is relatively small. It looks ?take out?. There is also plenty of parkingplaces available on the street or parking lots for a small fee. Patchogue residents park on the lots for free. Read more

Very clean and neat environment. Friendly staff and quick service. The food is very well priced and absolutely delicious. I... ordered the patchog (left) and the blackbird (right). Both were incredibly flavorful. The fries were also coated in a seasoningthat was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I highly recommend everyone check this place out. Read more

Warning!!! You might get addicted! Bird And Bao serves up some serious bao! The innovative menu choices offered make this place... a Patchogue gem. Located off Main St, paid street parking and a paid lot in the back of the restaurant. There is a backentrance to the building. Inside, the restaurant is very small. They have a few tables inside but I believe this is more of atakeout spot. It's extremely clean. The workers sanitize everything after each customer leaves their seat. The prices arefabulous for what you receive! $15 gets you 2 huge bao, a bunch of seasoned fries, and a drink. They also sell the baoseparately. The other menu items are also fairly priced. The service was super friendly & fast! The food was amazing and veryaddicting! The bao are the best I've ever had! The unique menu choices make this place even better. I chose to try the Bao Box:Nashville Hot Chicken & The Patchog which came with wonderfully seasoned crunchy fries & house limeaid. The Nashville came witha huge chunk of juicy chicken. The spicy Mayo went perfectly with the chicken. The Patchog was also fantastic. I liked both somuch, I can't choose which was better. They're both 5 out of 5 stars. The beautiful pork belly mixed so well with the crunchykimchi. Overall, I can't wait to come back and try more bao! Read more
