Reviews for Pappy McGregor's in Paso Robles, CA
Cool spot with good people and a great vibe. The food was good. I ordered the meatloaf; I don?t like meatloaf, but it?s on the... menu so I thought it would change my mind. It didn?t, but I can see why people would like it. The glaze on it was good so Iscraped it off onto my mashed potatoes. The garlic green beans were really good. The famous calamari was also really good. Read more

Everything we ate here was amazing! The drinks were on point and priced fairly. We had the Reuben, one with garlic fries and one... with a salad, both sides were so good and the corned beef was tender and tasted fantastic! We also had the short rib jalapeñoburger that tasted great but was also spicy hot (we like spice and this is on the spicier side). Read more
We were headed to Paso Robles Mid-State Fair to see John Fogerty 7/29. We were looking for a great place to eat. We checked out... the town and saw Pappy McGregors and it looked lively and they had some open tables inside and out. I called to see if we neededreservations. Nope, come on over and in 2 minutes we had a table. We also made it in time for happy hour, and we ordered PretzelFondue. It was amazing! We ordered fish tacos, a pappy burger and they were amazing , the service was fast, friendly. Ice coldbeers to top it off, clean, fresh and a lively-upbeat eatery. We will be back!! * The concert was Fantastic! Read more

Food and drinks are great.. friendly staff and plenty off space to sit. Good Happy hour as well!
Wow! Great food!! Cool Irish pub type vibe. Everything was delicious! Calamari was a sizable portion, crispy/crunchy, not... rubbery either. I got their Reuben, nice crunch on the bread, meat was juicy, nice balance of flavors. Hubby got the burger, heloved it especially since they would cook it rare. Simple but tasty salad as a side. Service was fast and friendly despitebeing a very busy Friday night. Tables were comfortably spaced too with CoVid regulations. It was a bit pricey, close to $100.But we did get an appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 beers. But it definitely felt worth the price with a great experience overall. Read more
Really good atmosphere and food ? my meatloaf with glaze sauce, and accompanying whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts ? were... outstanding. It was a football game night, so lots of excitement and sound. Read more
