I have eaten at Porter's many times but I have to say that I'm not thrilled with the amount of fat on the brisket considering... the price per pound. The brisket is delicious and I have no complaints about the taste but if I'm going to pay that amount ofmoney per pound I think the fat layer should be trimmed off the meat before serving it to a customer. Let me start off by saying I have always lived and grew up in the South. Only an hour from Memphis which is known for it?s BBQ.... Even this place knows it because it?s on the map on the inside of the place. I ate here today. Had the brisket loaded bakedpotato. Also got a side of the Gouda Mac and cheese. I will say I was skeptical and I told the girl preparing my ?tater? so. YesI call them taters and so does everyone else where I?m from. I wasn?t disappointed with any of it. For West Coast BBQ which Ihave ate all over now from the top here in WA to the bottom of Southern Cal this one tops them all on the West Coast for sure.If I?m ever in the area again I will not hesitate to return. Only drawback was I wish they would have gave more than onecontainer of the crema, but that?s partly on me because I didn?t check. I?m sure they would?ve if I had of asked. Read more

Extremely average. Everything seemed like it had been sitting around all day. Nothing special. Very expensive for very little. 2... people, one potato, beans, 1/3 lb of meat per person was nearly $50. Cheese ?sauce? on the hard potato was disgusting. Read more

I got to go sit outdoors and eat my potato buried in brisket, cheese sauce, sour cream, green onion, and bacon. It is two meals... worth, so an amazing value at $13. It's my go-to. My sister and brother-in-law enjoyed their first ever Porter's meal. Theyshared a brisket sandwich and mac and cheese (my teenagers' favorite). Super yummy. Read more

The food is pretty good. Better than dickies. If you take your family there, plan to leave your first born for sacrifice in... order to help pay for it all. No biggie, the food was pretty good. You get hamburger buns for rolls and every 6-8 months theyraise prices by $7 per lb. No biggie though cause the food is pretty good. I only have 2 kids left after our first visit somaybe in a few years we'll go back. The food was pretty good though. Read more

The food was so good I didn't even touch my beer until I was done eating. The half chicken is so tender you can carve it easily... with a plastic knife, the brisket has the most perfect bark I've encountered in a long time, and overall this is the bestbarbecue I've had since I moved to Washington State. When I come back, I will get only a Brisket sandwich, I got the Jonnys sandwich and the Brisket blew it out of the water on how... good it was. I will come back in a heartbeat but it's just expensive, and when I return it's a treat so injoy it slowly. Butoverall fantastic! Read more
