This is only for the taqueria that is inside,I went to buy some food to eat but the first sorprise was when I paid for a couple... tacos and a bottle of Mexican coke $11.33 cost me,but Im ok,i didn't ask the price before,after I paid on advance at theregister they served my 2 tacos with tortillas of paquete when i was expecting handmade tortillas, well another issue, i askfor tripitas ,the tripitas was cold and at the first bite, the tripitas wasn't clean, I couldn't eating so I opted to throw tothe trash ,my suggestion to anybody that going to buy cooked food, check the price, check ir ask for the you expect o pay for Read more
Just bought a lb of marinated fajitas for 11.99 a lb, which is way too expensive, but turns out they weren't even marinated... right, they were tougher than tough, couldn't even chew them. Didn't feel like driving farther for the best tender marinatedfajitas at La Montana, so I got stuck with tough meat. Lesson learned !!! Read more
I personally haven't gone there for much and not to often I'm sure that I'd have rated it 5 stars with continuous visits as the... service and products are good and the meat looks very good and I definitely plan on buying some from there sometime. Read more
Another wonderful local spot that is unfortunately hindered by a language barrier but once again, the good folks that work there... are very understanding and acknowledge that we ARE trying our best to speak to them in their own tongue even though 80% of thetime we aren't doing much more than just embarrassing ourselves. Lol. Terrific place, wonderful people, ALWAYS well stocked andfresh. We buy all of our produce here and feel grateful we live close by but would drive out of our way if needs be. Saturday morning I went to get 1 1/2 lb of Barbacoa and the lady there looked like she didn?t wanna be there my fiancé asked... for beans and she didn?t even ask what size so she guessed we wanted the biggest tub. I usually stop at the La Michoacana in Texas City which is great, i love it! I stopped by this one to pick up 6 pounds of... fajitas on my way home out of convienance and was disappointed. The people working there were great, but the fajitas on theother hand not so much. The 3 pounds of marinated fajitas had a lot of silver skin and fat. The cuts at Texas City are trimmedof all the silver skin and thinly sliced to the same thickness with just the right amount of fat. Some of the fajitas here werereal thick others thin. The 3 pounds of natural fajitas were the same. It was like eating a tire. Overall just bad product. Iwill stick to the Texas City La Michoacana, or if need be try another one but I will never stop here again. Read more
