This was a great spot to meet a friend for lunch. The weather was cold and raining, but it was warm and cozy inside. The... service is always great and they offer a good menu with choices for everyone. Portions are on the larger side, so beware thatyou may end up with leftovers. What a pleasant surprise. As a chef, I am a bit critical of the food I receive but this restaurant didn't disappoint. The... appetizers are decent but you can get them anywhere. The gem of this restaurant is the main dishes and the salads. I upgradedmy dinner salad to an antipasti for $5 and Wow. One of the best I've ever had. An absolutely perfect salad. Everything was great except the pasta was a little bland and and there wasn't much flavor. It was like watered down Alfredo... sauce. I have been coming here for years and will continue to do that but the new chef needs to kick it up a notch. Pleasedon't let this review detour you from going to this place because they are very good and the atmosphere and service is alwaysexcellent. Just needed to make that point. Can't even give a full review because the restaurant was closed without notice. We made reservations a week in advanced for... Thanksgiving dinner. Google, their Facebook page, and their website said they would be open this evening but as soon as myfamily and I pulled into the parking lot, everything was dark. I have tried messaging and calling but received nothing. Itcreated a last minute disappointment and chaos of finding a new place to have dinner. Won't waste my time trying in the futureif they can't even update their availability correctly for a holiday. Read more
