Hello, been coming here for years and have never had an issue or complaint until today. The salmon that was served with our... rolls was not edible due to its squishy texture and odd scent. Service is a little slow here if you come in person. Be ready for a little wait. The rolls are good, but nothing special. The... reason I did come back was because of their Truffle Salmon hand roll. It?s SOOO good!!! If you?re a fan of truffle-come for thisand appetizers. One of the best hand rolls I?ve tried. They need to work on presentation for pick up orders. My roll-althoughdelicious, was wrapped loose and all the fish was towards the top and the rice was more at the bottom. Almost like someone newhad made it. Came here on a Thursday evening, was not crowded at all but lots of delivery orders. My first bite was the tuna nigiri sampler... and it was horrible. The tuna was bitter, not fresh. They gave 2 pieces of the same low fatty tuna. Was not pleasant. The thirdpiece, I thought it would be fatty tuna. It seemed different but not amazing at all. The other rolls were acceptable but by nomeans very enjoyable. 2 rolls and 2 nigiri samples came out to approximately $27. Good thing I didn't get their sashimi; wouldhave been an absolute waste. I found out about sushi stop about 10 years ago and it's been my fave sushi spot ever since. Always fresh, made to order and the... consistency is on point every time I go. Plus its sooo reasonable! I love that they have rolls that are just a few pieces eachso you can order way more variety and get more bang for your buck! For a low price sushi chain, the quality was pretty good. The salmon, tuna, and yellowtail plates were fresh with no fishy odor... and melted in the mouth. Well, not the yellowtail because it's a slightly tougher meat. The servings and presentations meetexpectations at this price-point. Despite it being busy, the service was good and we waited no more than 10 minutes for our foodand everyone was wearing masks for those concerned. I would eat at their restaurants again but prefer the revolving sushi barexperience more, which is comparable in price. Read more
Very flavorful and refreshing. Especially with these temps (115 f) came to this place because it was rhe nearest to the Rose... bowl. They are fast and i was seated withing 5 min even tho there was a line. Would recommend and forsure come back. Good pricesand amawing food Read more
Walked in at 10:20 pm on a Saturday evening where other places in the area were crowded and had a waiting list. We were able to... sit right away, orders were taken and served seriously way faster than McDonalds. Some rolls were not the best looking ones buthad great ratio of rice and fish.
