I've only been here once & wish I would have known about this spot sooner! So my sibling decided to have a surprise party for... our mother here. The service, the staff.. The food and the drinks and atmosphere was outstanding!!! I wasn't planning on eatingthat night, only because I had my heart set on drinking most of the night. But after I served a plate for a family member ofmine. I had to serve myself a plate as well. The food was so delicious! The next morning I was craving the same thing I ate thenight before! The staff was super friendly and helpful and the restrooms are clean. I am definitely coming back. And I'd highlyrecommend this place for private parties & or just to grab a bite to eat. I had a Great time last night at the Tequila Tasting. The vendors were amazing especially Jason. He really is well informed... about his product. People were super friendly. It was an older crowd but they sure know how to party!! Great time all around.Food was really tasty. Lots of choices!!! I recommend that everyone come out next year!!! Read more
This is a solid average local Mexican restaurant that has been around for more than 100 years. We come here mostly to enjoy... their lovely outdoor patio. The menu has all the classic dishes and the quality is fine. The margaritas are tasty and theyoffer a nice table-side guacamole. I?m only rating this place 4 stars because it is a solid average. They do everything right,but nothing exceptional. The wait staff is always friendly and the food is tasty. If you?re looking for a good meal then youcan?t go wrong choosing Mijares. Read more

We wanted to try a new spot for Mexican food, this was definitely a good place and we ordered several plates all of them were... really good. The horchata was amazing and the burrito was on point, we finished the day by ordering a fried ice-cream and wasdelicious. Read more

Decent food, great salsa, excellent Margaritas and a bustling restaurant. We had a much needed, fun evening with friends here.... Any other time I would have given it 3 stars on just the food part but everything else was so great that the food became a partof the whole experience. The service was on point and their Margarita packs a solid punch...no wishy, washy stuff...enjoyedthem. 2 out of the 4 dishes on our table were good and 2 were okok. The Chile Verde was not the best but enjoyable enough. Thevegetable fajitas were a tad disappointing but the combo meat fajitas were good. We will definitely be back if for nothing elsebut for the great Margaritas ! Read more
Excellent chips and salsa!! For free????. I kinda filled up on chips cause I love em but I still made room for the excellent... tostada I ordered. Nice patio outside with umbrellas. The waiter was super friendly and patient as we had to wait forever forthe last two in our party to arrive.???? Prices are good, for its great, I'll go back. Read more
