Don't let them seat you outside. They'll forget to assign a server to your table and leave you there for half an hour. You may... as well wait for an inside table where at least you can flag someone down. Once we did finally get to place our order the fooddid come out quickly. But it definitely wasn't worth the wait. The oysters were tiny and the rest of the food was just okay. Thesalmon temaki was way too salty given that we could have adjusted to taste with soy sauce, and the fish and chips soggy. Read more

Cioppino slayer here and I have to say this is a top tier experience. The Cioppino is so balanced, love the salmon, don't... usually see that. The broth is great and the garlic bread provided to sop it up is perfect. The oysters are out of this worldfresh. The cocktail sauce etc provided is an insult to these beauties. Don't do it! Clean open airy bright dining area, excellent staff. i’m giving myself an aneurysm trying to find something to critique but I can’t, everything was perfect.???????????????? Read more

The max and cheese is worth it! The French fries are incredible. They are thick cut and crispy with garlic seasoning. It’s a... standard side with the lobster roll and of course the fish and chips. The oyster sampler is fun if you have no clue about thedifferent oysters they have. The service could be better. Things arrived out of order and our oyster platter was forgottenuntil we had already halfway finished our food. Read more

4.5 stars. Thoroughly enjoyed every single thing in this visit, everything was so delish and so fresh. We opted for a whole... Maine lobster($29), a dozen oysters ($41) and a crown city cioppino ($35) to share. Crown city cioppino: Really good! Wehonestly loved the cioppino there, the broth was flavorful but not overly salty. And, the fish in the soup was so delish, theywere tender and buttery. This dish reminds me of bouillabaisse that we had in Southern France, probably one of the best we havehad. Maine lobster: It was delicate, tender, and sweet. It was served w/ cocktail sauce and grated horseradish, but I didn'tthink that it paired well w the lobster meat. A bit too overpowering in my opinion. I think it paired better w/ mignonette ormelted butter (added paprika and some salt and pepper by choice), would recommend asking some from the restaurant. Oysters:Each oyster is around $3.50-$4, we opted for the chef's dozen oysters sampler, which came with 4 different kinds. They are Mistypoint (VA), Coromandel (NZ), Haven golds (VA), and Beausoleil (CAN). My fav was the Beausoleil from Canada, it was exquisite, mild brine and had a good hint of a cucumber note. Both Misty point (Briny and earthy) and Haven golds (fat as butter) werereally good too. We enjoyed the dozen sampler. Nicely picked. Not the cheapest but VERY satisfying! All in all, love thefreshness! The only suggestion would be the serving order, I just wish we could get the raw dish first instead of the cookedones. Will be returning soon. Tips: Ask for a booth seating if available, they are more comfortable than sitting at the bar orthe regular tables. Read more

Been here once before pandemic and was amazed by the food. So I bookmarked it on Yelp. I'm happy that they are still here after... 2 years and survived pandemic. Food is still delicious ! Highly recommended their oysters, clam chowder, and crab cake. Lobsterroll is good too. Read more

Great spot if you're craving seafood! The service was also awesome. The lobster meat in the lobster roll was absolutely... delicious and the bread was nicely buttered and toasted. Although I personally was not a fan of the mayo (had a very stronggreen onion flavor and crunch), I can see how others might really like this style. The mussels, clams, and lobster in thesteamer were delicious. The crab cakes and the salad that's included were pretty good although again, the crab cakes had astrong green onion flavor. Same comment for the fried oysters + devil eggs, great seafood but strong green onion flavoring. Overall, I still highly recommend this place if you're looking for a lot of variety and have a craving for seafood! Read more
