This place is love. The chef puts an amazing effort into making the tastiest food ever. The chicken is so moist, I can?t believe... it?s deep fried. Look at the menu on your phone before you arrive. Country style is very little spice. If you ask for levels ofspice - it will get hot quick. Everything on the menu is really really great food. See if the chef will tell you his secretrecipe. Do not park in the red zone in front of the restaurant on either side of the street. You will be blocking the firedept., hence the red zone. There is metered parking next to Central Park. Louisiana Style chicken sandwich was one the best I've tried. Breast meat was so juicy and tender, I had to ask if it wasn't... really thigh meat. They have multiple style sandwiches with different levels if hot for each. They have out door seating, it'svery clean, and the owner was very friendly. Tiny Pasadena storefront, serving spectacular chicken sandwiches and fries! They have a wide selection of breakfast, lunch and... dinner items. Great food, my experience at Daddy?s Chicken Shack was excellent. I ordered a Big Daddy Sandwich for $13 plus $5 for an extra... chicken patty on the sandwich I think, sweet potato fries, and a side of blue cheese, a side of sour cream, and a side of ranch. I also ordered this great tasting grape soda, it was sweet so, I?d say it?s a sharing half and half soda. The chicken isbuttermilk chicken, so it was moist and tasty. It was deep fried but didn?t give me heartburn or indigestion, it was great withthe Napa slaw in the sandwich and matching tasting great bun. The sweet potato fries were deep fried butt not too greasy, andhave a good flavor to the sweet potato. All of the ingredients this restaurant used were really good quality. The serviceevery time I go here, a lot of times, has always been great, they must do some kind of little Customer Seevice talk strategyamongst the Staff. Insanely good popcorn chicken and chicken sandwich! The chicken is so crispy and fresh. I?ve been hunting through LA for the... best fried chicken, so far this is the best I?ve had. Makes some of the popular places seem just ?ok?. Service is very friendlyand quick for the quality of the food. A great hole in the wall with outdoor seating and a small storefront for ordering (hencethe name, as close to a shack without being one). Sauces taste home made, honey mustard and ranch were perfect. The best chicken burgers ever. I've ordered twice now thru uber eats and it does not disappoint. I recommend getting the All... American if you don't like spicy. It packs in alot of flavor with beacon, pickles, cabbage, chicken and the buns of course. Theranch and spicy mayo is a must, it's the best I've ever tasted. The popcorn chicken is also good and crispy. The fries are freshand crunchy as well. And if you want something sweet, go for the waffle chicken sandwich. It is VERY sweet so it might not befor everyone. Definitely check this place out if you're looking to eat chicken. Read more
