Great patio on a warm Saturday night. Service was good (like everywhere under staffed so 35 minute wait to get a table but nice... and attentive server). Fantastic live music and great to watch the float planes, cruise ships, seadoos and boats coming andgoing. Catfish sandwich was good(spicy). Great way to spend a Saturday night. Read more
Update...better service today. Did have to ask for utensils to eat with as food was expedited by someone else. Greek salad was... good but wasps are an issue eating outside in Aug. Waitress was really doing well on her own outside. Staff still low. My onlyissue was how long it took to be seated. 30 mins but there was a sign saying short staffed because of covid. I do enjoy sittingoutside on the water on Georgian Bay. The cruise ship, planes so lots to look at. Beer was cold and service was ok. Hubby saidfish was tasty. I had a burger, nice and juicy and was not a frozen patty. Lots of garnishes and fries served hot. Will be back.Covid will have to end soon and this place would be a great place to work. We missed our cruise and decided to make our day count anyway. Surprisingly had our one of best lunch for past two years.... Delicious meals, friendly staffs, efficient services and great view; the overall experiences were exceptional. We will returnsoon. Read more
Only thing that saved it from one star was the fish. Beer came flat, fries were cold and the one bite of coleslaw is a joke.... Also charging extra for tarter sauce when given so little not cool. I would not recommend coming for the fish dinner maybesomething else would be better but you can tell owner is cheap and charging extra on everything. Read more
Great meal, fantastic staff, prompt and friendly service. I had the carrot soup of the day, Beef Brisket sandwich with a side... greek salad, and decaf coffee, my wife had the chicken Ceaser salad, and my mother in law had the delicious fish and chips. .Everything was perfect, tasty and savoury, amazing views of the bay in a cold, blustery and rainy day. A very friendly and kind staff. Even though they are severely understaffed they were able to keep up with almost half of the... full restaurant during the lunch time hour. I gave this restaurant 4 stars only because there is often a lineup to get in. The outdoor patio part could use a few more... umbrellas. The food though is really good. Their soup of the day is a favourite. Portions are plentiful and nicely presented.The staff is super friendly and accommodating. It?s on the water at Parry Sound Harbour. The float planes land and take offright there. People watching is fun. I would definitely recommend dining there this summer. Read more
Dinner With A Lovely View Of Parry Sound Harbor My family and I happened to have dinner at Parry Sound right after our Island... Queen cruise in late August 2022. The food itself was okay but not great (at least my pizza platter, expensive and extremelythin). My kids was better especially the salmon but small portion. Reason I give it a 4-star is simply because of the awesomeview of the habour (we sat outside right near the sea planes), and also because of the waitress friendliness and considerationfor us. When it was imminent the thunderstorm was about to come, she strongly advised us to come inside because we were out inthe patio. We heed to her advise (although we were left to our own devises to find ourselves a table) and came inside. About10 minutes later it rained like crazy! Another instance I wasn't too happy about was the receptionist attitude. When we cameto the restaurant she asked us where we'd like to seat. We said outside in the patio which was fine. However she chose us tosit in a secluded part but I pointed the spot with a more beautiful view (I was not reserved and had 4 seats for the 4 of us). She seemed annoyed and overheard her saying "it doesn't matter, you sit wherever you want... whatever...!". Mmmm, that's doesnot sound nice at all - how can customers be treated like that! The worst part is that they forgot to bring my beer (I'veordered it 30 min ago). Despite these setbacks we still enjoyed the food & ambience but for quite a high price. Read more
