Excellent Chinese food very authentic, they didn't have buffet for lunch but you can order fried noodles and fried rice, and big... portions too. We ordered bbq pork fried rice and chicken chow mein and enough for 2 senior, 2 adults and a 7yr old. Sorry toohungry didn't take any pictures. Read more

First time coming here, since it changed owners. All I kept hearing were bad things, I'm so glad I came anyway! The food was... delicious! Our waitress was amazing as always! I almost avoided this place based on the reviews, but i am so glad I decided to try it for myself. We got the evening buffet. ... Went around 5:00, and it was busy, but fast service. Excellent customer service/friendly staff/very attentive. Food wasdelicious. There was not one thing I tried that I didn't like. Nothing was greasy. Wonton soup was very flavourful (theWontoton soup seemed a common complaint on the reviews...not sure why?!). Huge variety of dishes. Food was proper temperature.I don't eat fish/seafood so couldn't comment on that, but my mom ate a couple types of shrimo and enjoyed it. Looking aroundme, everyone seemed satisfied with their meals. Just to save anyone else time form ordering takeout form here I got deep friend prawns and when I bit into them I also noticed... the all the veins were still on them I got a big string of black. They were also the smallest I?ve seen so it was mostly justbatter. I also ordered the deep fried squid and there was so much corn starch clumped on it that it was all I could taste. Iwas really bummed because the order was expensive and I tipped generously. I thought about calling back but I honestly don?tthink it was a one off so I?d suggest ordering elsewhere. Read more

We went to this restaurant in Parksville for Father's Day, for lunch but arrived 15 minutes after the buffet was closed. The... wonderful staff opened up the buffet for us and treated us like royalty. Theywere incredibly hospitable, asking if we wantedanything else. We have never had such wonderful service. The portions are generous. They gave us a lot of sauces. With that being said myself and my mother thought most of the food we... got tasted bad. The chicken balls were fishy. Which wasn't a big problem for me but for someone that dislikes fish (my mom)that's pretty off putting. The almond chicken was very dry and the batter was greasy. The sweet and sour pork had an off taste.All in all would not recommend the place unless the food is largely improved. Read more
