We didn't partake but a whiskey rep was passing out free shots. Service left a bit to be desired, had to ask a hostess for our... check because we were left hanging by our waitress. Selection was slim, and presented on xeroxed paper menus. For a handful of$40-$50 plates, you would expect more. I went with the $34 short rib which was cooked well. Tender and juicy despite beingprepared low and slow.. Wife had the salmon, it was decent. Avocado Bruschetta appetizer was the highlight for both of us.Ambiance wasn't really the best. We went to The Douglas tonight on a whim to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The food was top notch and the service was... exceptional. We chatted with the Executive Chef and he changes the menu frequently to fit with the season. My 12 oz new yorkstrip and my wife's 8 oz filet were cooked to perfection. The steak frites were amazing (like a cross between fries and chips).Everything was fantastic and Parker was the most amazing server. Took amazing care of us. Would highly recommend.
