It comes with a very heavy heart that we say this ice cream was terrible. :( It literally tasted like it was stale. (my friends... said it tasted like cardboard... like it was freezer burned?) :(( Peanut Butter and Chocolate... no peanut butter or chocolateflavor in the ice cream besides the lil reeses pb cups. I think you meant employees checking the cabinet temps, etc. Not sure what it was but you mayneed to get someone local to check it out. Girl working was so slow 25% of the ice was already melted before we received the product. After shaving the ice she had to make... more syrup the whole time the ice was melting. At just over $8.00 you would think they could get things done. Took 5 minutesfrom the time we paid until we got served. After speaking withe owner and him listing to or problems he arrived us he wouldaddress the issue. He also responded to .y review within an hour which shows ihe is very involved in his operations. Usually always love our experience, but this time was such a bummer. Our cups were barely filled and then there wasn?t enough... syrup to reach half way through the shaved ice. So unfortunately we threw away half of it, even after I was asked for atip??????????? Hopefully next time will be better. Read more
Wonderful service. This is the best shaved ice I have ever had. I do wish they had some discriptions for their smoothies on what... they put in it because some of the names dont describe the flavor very well. Read more
I absolutely love this shaved ice. I will purposefully wait sometimes up to an hour or more until 3pm when it opens to get my... fix. Flavor and quality is 5 stars hands down. However I have to rate 4 stars because 3/5 times I go, I end up waiting LITERALLY25 minutes or longer to get my order. Even when there?s only a few other people in line. The service is extremely extremelyslow. It easily takes a good 7-10 minutes For each order to make it out to each customer. And I promise that?s no exaggeration.However, once you finally get your order, it is absolutely delicious and so refreshing. Definitely worth the wait. I still keepcoming back! Read more
Staff is very friendly and personable. They are very knowledgeable and truly enjoy watching customers enjoy the product samples.... The owner is a wonderful person that always loves conversation and people. Usually when ones staff is mostly high schoolers, theservice can be terrible. This is not the case. Alex is a fantastic kid, and a pleasure to interract with. I also love talkingwith Laura, I think her name is, they don't wear name tags so you have to ask. We had Hokulia Shave Ice bring their goodies to our daughter's graduation as well as our annual client picnic. Both times were... amazing. The kids really enjoyed having something different than cupcakes and had fun making their own flavors. Our client partywas a huge success thanks in part to Hokulia, the owners and the employees who worked our event. I would definitely hire themagain and now we have to visit their store! Read more
