We decided to try Doug's Diner today as we had time and it wasn't too crowded around 10:30 this morning. Our waitress was... awesome! Very friendly and great sense of humor. It was funny when we first walked in she waved at us. My boyfriend said, "Doyou know her?" I didn't but she was just that kind of girl! Great service, great food and nice atmosphere! I can't get over this place. Not only was the food delicious, but the wait staff had to be the most attentive I've had in a... while. I picked up an online order, and in the few minutes I stood there waiting all 4 of those ladies stopped and checked onme. The food was incredible. I only regret not getting a hot cake after seeing another table get one. They have a decent sizedmenu, with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. We got a burger with cottage cheese, chicken tenders with french fries, abiscuit and gravy with poached egg, and home fries, all for under $40 after taxes. Everything was so so good. Is there a better pancake? I mean that absolutely & literally. Is there?! I am in love with the Drizzle omelette, & I always get... a single sweet cake on the side. It is like two individual meals, but who is counting. I love taking my kids here for mom/kidtime, & I love taking my folks here as well. The best breakfast you can find is at Doug's Diner! Read more

I had breakfast here this morning. I was excited because of all the hype, but I was extremely underwhelmed. Food had no... seasoning at all, and the biscuit was really bland. Because of all the five star reviews, I will indeed give them another shot,but I wasn?t terribly impressed. Read more
Absolutely love this place, it's a staple breakfast spot for my husband and I. Cozy atmosphere, friendly and inviting staff. The... food has never disappointed and you definitely get your money's worth with their portions. They have one of my favoritesmothered breakfast burritos, simple but done well. They also have a cool coffee bar and their latte's are another highlight.Overall this place is a great stop for breakfast or lunch and we will definitely keep coming back. Read more
THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE BREAKFAST PLACE!!! The Egg and I??? Nope. The Delectable Egg??? Nope. First Watch??? ... Negative. Doug's Day Diner has everything I want! 1) Hearty rural/country breakfast fare? CHECK. 2) Large Portions? CHECK. 3)Spirited and Friendly Staff? CHECK. 4) Reasonable prices? CHECK. 5) Smiling faces amongst the customer crowd? CHECK. We waitedalmost 30 minutes just to get a seat at 10:30am on a Saturday. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. What made it worth it? See above. I willwait for a seat for a place that meets all of the above criteria - especially the good prices. But DON'T raise those pricesDoug's, or that will tip the scales in the wrong direction!!! I had the "Cowboy" and it was GREAT! Although the "Hillbilly"looked amazing as well! Cinnamon Roles are just as good as Cinnabon's! Love the rural/country/Colorado/Broncos decor(bathrooms includes). I grew up in this state and this place SCREAMS COLORADO more than any other place I can think of. It makesme think of the Colorado of my youth...... not the busy, packed, corporate, leftist Colorado of today. Had a VERY friendlywaitress with a sunny disposition, southern drawl, and functional, succinct service (didn't hover... I hate that)!!! HOPE THATTATTOO YOU'RE GETTING LATER TODAY IS JUST WHAT YOU WANT!!! There is waaaaaaaaaay too many menu items for me to not returnreligiously..... at least 10-15 times (at minimum)!!!
