Dined in on the front patio. Great space and our daughter really enjoyed the train passing by. Staff attentiveness was less than... satisfactory. Ordered a bowl of the soup of the day and was given a cup. Waitress confirmed she had ordered a bowl for me butdid not ask how to address the issue. I later had to ask for for another cup of soup near the end to finally have my fill. Mywife and I each ordered the curry with basmati rice. It tasted fantastic however the portion size left my 120lb wife stillhungry and me, twice the weight I won't even state. 5 stars for taste of the food however the portions had me seriouslyquestioning things. 3 stars for portions. 3 stars for the wait staff. They really kept us waiting for no reason withoutmentioning the fiasco at the top of this review. They tried to amend things which I appreciate but they definitely need toimprove on their game. Food is tasty, environment is relaxing yet, fun. Menu is like newspaper style paper and fun. Sitting outside during the summer... the metra can be loud and annoying especially from the bell, breaks, etc. Read more
Varied menu with options to meet any ones desires esp for an Irish Tavern. Parking a tad difficult but friendly waitstaff made... parking search very worthwhile. Food was very good. Prices seemed reasonable in today's environment. A very pleasantexperience for our party of three. More spacious than originally thought plus the street seating provides customers with manyoptions for in door or out. Read more
Corned beef hash was rough. Small serving that tasted more like flavored sawdust than corned beef. I asked where the breakfast... potatoes were...if you look hard enough they're in there. I took 2 bites and a busser asked if I was done lol. Read more
Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Absolutely delicious food and unique items such as... Breaded Buffalo Cauliflower, and Reuben Wontons, pictured here. Always busy when we come, whether lunch or dinner on eitherweekday or weekend. Nice spacious spot indoors and outdoor patio as well. Will be back for sure. Read more
I love this place. Great homemade food. Great drinks. However, staff is beyond unaatentive. In fact, been sitting here for 10... minutes, they aren't busy, and the wait staff could care less. We decided, because the food is excellent to just get our foodand drinks from the knowledgeable bartender. Well, we finally got a server. Big mix up, I guess. They comped our drinks and anappetizer. Yesterday was my 2nd time there and have no complaints. We were seated outside per out request. Nothing spectacular but also... nothing to complain about. Drinks were ok (nonalcoholic cocktail and beers) as well as food ( fries, crab cake and flatbread). Awaitress was nice, in my opinion checking us too many times, but ok. Anyway- good place for regular meeting with friends. Read more
Highly recommend The Harp and Fiddle for food dining, service, and atmosphere. Everything was terrific. Our server Eileen was... fantastic with a party of 20. The food was delicious.
