Order a day ahead for a pickup to be ready on a Sunday morning. I pick up the bagels, come home, and am ready to eat breakfast... with my family. We open the bag and a bagel is missing. Yes, we should have checked ourselves before leaving to make sure, butthat?s not entirely our responsibility. I call them to inquire about the missing bagel, and get put on hold, for 15 minutes. Guypicks up the phone after I hear someone tell him that I?m still on hold in the background (I could hear everything the entiretime I was on hold) and I tell him I?m already there, that I was missing a chorizo bagel. And no, that hold time is not overexaggerated either. I get there to pick up my missing bagel, and had to wait another 20 minutes for my bagel to be ready asthey serve other customers that did not order ahead. They completely forget about me. After waiting those 20 minutes, a lady atthe checkout asks me, ?Excuse me, are you waiting for something?? At this point, I?m furious. I respond that I?m waiting for achorizo bagel, and I can tell by the facial expression of someone making the bagels that they completely forgot about it. Atthis point I only wait another 2 minutes for my bagel. And after wasting all that time, all I get is a ?sorry aboutthat.? Horrible service, never coming back here again. Read more
Terrible customer service. I ordered a lox bagel and received a half portion of lox. When I went up to the counter to show the... workers, they ignored me. The employee named Kelly turned her back on me and told me, "if you want more it's extra." I didn'teven receive what I paid for. Incredibly rude and disrespectful. I will be calling corporate. This place has gone down hill since the start of the pandemic. They clearly have a lot of staff turnover and prices have... increased despite the quality of their bagels dropping. Read more
In my opinion this location needs a good coat a paint but that is the only negative. The bagels are plentiful in choice, fresh... and delicious. Coffee is fresh brewed and good. A good choice for a delicious bagel and toppings. Read more
Double check your order before you leave, got a texas brisket bagel today that had brisket on half the bagel and there was... barely even any brisket? Really? We can't even put enough brisket on a bagel? Lazy work. Even though there isn't another oneclose by it'd be worth your money to find one. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at an Einstein's. I only received egg whites on the 2 egg sandwiches we ordered... and barely any turkey on the other. The Baker's Dozen Bagels listed the bagels I'd receive, yet I just received a randomassortment. If I had known, I would of not ordered it. My son is allergic to sesame, and unfortunately instead of dealing with 2sesame bagels, most of the bagels were everything bagels with sesame. The issue with this is it makes it harder to share thebagels with my son and most of the people in the house don't like onions or garlic on their bagels. Additionally, most of mybagels weren't cut properly. And parts of a couple bagels are missing. And finally, I feel like the coffee wasn't brewedproperly. The coffee tasted like chemicals. I love Einstein Bagels usually. I just moved in the area, and it saddens me theclosest Einstein's Bagel to me is sloppy in their food service. Read more
Bagels are still good and fresh but since they changed ownership a few years ago the staff is always changing. Not the same... neighborhood feel. They don?t even have tables inside to dine at anymore ??????????? it?s just an empty restaurant space with aservice counter- so strange in downtown park ridge. Read more
