We ate @Companeros Mexican Restaurant & couldn?t be more pleased. The individual sauces they offer are superb, I?ve never seen... multiple specialty sauces served on a plate & I?ve been out for Mexican style food for 5 decades. The staff were so efficient &friendly, something we?ve not seen in a LONG time. Seating was pretty full but we didn?t wait more than a minute. Very clean &tidy throughout. A place we?ll go to regularly for certain. Google says they?re $20-30 but I?d say $12-25. Read more
We came here from a bigger city out of state and saw it was the highest rated Mexican place in the area. With a party of four,... it took a very long time to get us our drinks and chips and salsa, and it took even longer to get to our our orders in.Everything was extremely bland and probably the least authentic Mexican food from a sit-down restaurant that we've ever had.Even the lemonade tasted watered down. The staff was very kind and pleasant in terms of manners, however the service overall wasnot great. Two of our orders were messed up, and it took about twenty minutes after we ordered drinks to get a subpar margarita.Overall it was fine, as nobody was rude, but in terms of timely service and the food, it was not good. Great Mexican food up north. Very good service with nice people running the place. OK parking in front of the building and up... and down the main road itself. The chimichunga was very good and a lot of it. Very popular with the locals which is always agood sign. Read more
