Reviews for Purple Sage in Park City, UT
A few months back my family, from Las Vegas, and I tried this quaint little restaurant off the main street in Park City for... something new. Even after multiple trips to PC before I had never seen the Purple Sage but once I experienced it my wife and Iwill definitely go back. Very upscale yet comfortable surroundings, the staff was exceptional and the food was amazing. For theprice the quality was definitely worth it. Great for adults and older kids but the cuisine may not fit the younger fast foodgenerations. Just wanted to give a thanks to the staff for such a wonderful experience and hope to be back soon Read more
I’ve been to Purple Sage twice and loved it both times. The charcuterie board, ravioli, and the steak were incredible. The... staff was also very accommodating for us when we had our baby along. Definitely a place to check out. Read more
Pretty good meals out of the few times I’ve been here. Pricing is not too bad for the portion size of the food either. Would... recommend the salmon if you like fish! If not maybe stick with a nice salad, wedge is delicious. Read more
The service was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. The food, however, needs improvement. It needs more seasoning. The... housemade potato chips were very hard and too chewey. The blue cheese on it wasn't the best. I also ordered the purple sagesignature steak with fries. The steak lacked seasoning as it tasted like oil. It was too bland and the steak was mostly fatty. Not very enjoyable. The fries needed salt (no biggie on that since you can always add more). I also had their special pork. Itwas pretty good overall. The green beans need some salt. The mashed potatoes were too buttery. This is one of those places wereyou're paying for the atmosphere and location, not the food. Read more
Highly recommend this restaurant. The Chicken Tomale Pancake is a must order. The buffalo ribs had a very nice flavor and... texture. And, the duck confit was cooked to perfection. Read more
Imagine your Southern Grandma started wearing broad rimmed hats, skinny jeans and brown leather Chelsea boots. This is the... restaurant she would open. We had the charcuterie board and warm housemade potato chips to start along with the complimentarycrusty baguette basket with corn jalapeno mini muffins. My favorite of the entrees we ordered was the Butternut Squash Ravioli. The ravioli (raviolis? raviolii?) were slightly crispy on the edges so I'm guessing they dunked them in the fry oil for a sec, creamy filling with hints of nutmeg resting on a bed of sauteed Granny Smith apples and topped with parmesan and fried sageleaves. This was a medium sized portion, but the other entrees were huge. The Chicken Fried Chicken with country chorizo gravyis a must along with the Braised Short Ribs nestled in a smooth and creamy cauliflower puree. We got a side of Mac and Cheesefor the kids in case they didn't like the other entrees, but they loved them all, especially the Chicken Fried Chicken. You'dthink the chorizo gravy would be spicy but instead it was just packed with delicious flavor. You can't go wrong here. It's alsopretty incredible price wise. I've had way more expensive dinners that weren't this good. I'd say make a reservation if you wantto make sure you'll get a table, but they do take walk-ins if they're not too busy. Friendly accomodating staff. Read more
Nice chic western decor, good service from front door to table, great mix of a smaller menu. The chicken tamales had great... flavor, the duck was amazing and the meatloaf was satisfying but a unique twist on meatloaf. Would definitely return here! Read more
Cure interior, very professionally-run dinner place. Excellent service. We were able to get in on a night it was pouring rain,... but it probably would be best to reserve if you can. Food delicious. Read more
