Reviews for Chocolate Sensations in Paris, ON
Nice little chocolate shop in Paris. There is a lot of selection and there is most certainly something here to satisfy any sweet... tooth. You'll pay premium prices, but that should be expected, as if you're looking for a good deal, this is not the place foryou. Same goes for the ice cream. There are so many flavours here, all Kawartha Dairy, many of which you'll never find in agrocery store, so if you're looking to treat the kids (or yourself!) to something special, this is a good option. I've been here about a dozen times. I now bring my two young sons here for Ice Cream. It's always a special visit full of window... licking and hungry eyes! The staff have always been incredible, very friendly, and eager to satisfy customers. I've never had abad experience, and I've only seen happy people leave this store. Awesome stuff!! Read more

Chocolate buying experience left me bitter. Before I start, let me say that I love supporting small, local businesses and I am... loathe to post a negative review. But without feedback, businesses can?t improve. So here goes. If you are in the store to buychocolate, you are not a priority and will end up waiting a significant length of time to pay. The staff will not speak to you, make eye contact or even look at you until they have served everyone at the ice cream counter. And if anyone else comes into thestore for ice cream while you are waiting, they will offer to serve them first. My husband & I entered the store late in theevening after a nice walk. There were a few customers in the store milling about. We looked around & my husband suggested we buysome chocolate for a friend. It took us a bit to figure out where the cash was, but when a customer was cashed out at the icecream counter, we realized that was where we needed to pay. So I walked over to the cash register to pay and the staff memberpromptly walked away. I stood near the cash, with chocolate in my hand, completely confused as they repeatedly cashed out icecream sales & ignored me. In fact, once the two staff had served everyone other than me & one person in the ice cream line, thesecond staff member said something to the other staff member & left. At this point I put the chocolate down on the counter asit was melting in my hand. (See picture) The person waiting for ice cream was served and cashed out. In the meantime, 2 morepeople entered the store & lined up for ice cream. So naturally, the server offered to help them next. Those customers had totell her that I was next. Only then did the server (who had been told by the previous customer that the chocolate on thecounter was mine) ask what I wanted, and when I indicated just the chocolate, she poured salt on the open wound: ?Oh, I canring that through for you quickly, right now.? Gee. Thanks. At any point during this experie Read more
