2 ladies walked by me multiple times and I had to ask if we have to wait to be seated. Large biscuits are not large. Regular... sized. I would hate to see what they think is a small. Not really recommended. Has to be better breakfast around. Read more
This place had a really nice homey vibe and really good pricing, especially for the beach. Amazing customer service as well,... everybody was very polite and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The food was really good as well. I got aburger and it?s one of the best burgers I?ve ever had. That?s saying a lot considering I eat burgers pretty much everywhere Igo. I definitely recommend going here! Read more
Really enjoyed the breakfast. I love pancakes and theirs were deliciously fluffy! If you plan to go there for breakfast, go... early especially if it is a high tourist time. Its a homely kind of restaurant and the staff was nice. Read more
Great local experience. Took the family here for breakfast this morning. All the food tasted great and cooked to order. ... Service was great and food came out fast. The biscuits were very big and the gravy, both sausage and pepper, were very good. Potatoes came out hot and the eggs tasted like home. Yummy Read more
We went in for breakfast it's a nice cozy little diner it's like local folks running it they could definitely use our business.... We had breakfast although I hear the burgers are to die for. I had biscuits and gravy hash browns sausage my wife had the samething except for bacon food was hot it was fresh the biscuits are awesome the gravy was good. Definitely a hidden gem. Thelocation is actually in the strip mall the entrance even though it looks like you can pull up to the back door if you do and itsays use other door drive around the building or walk and you'll find the entrance next to the local steamer. The prices arebetter than anything else we've seen on The strip so far coffee was hot and fresh. The hash browns were light they were freshthey were not soaked up with oil or Grease like many other restaurants around. The server was awesome, and she got a nice bigtip. Read more
Delicious Dinner at the Diner!!!!! Someone very wise told me, ?If it?s on the beach side of the road, it?ll have great drinks... and terrible/overpriced food?, or something to that effect. So very true! We finally wised up and moved off the beach this year,and we haven?t been disappointed or overcharged once! As soon as we walked inside, we were greeted and welcomed into therestaurant by the friendly staff. We ordered the fish basket which came with a side of fries, 2 hushpuppies, and a small servingof sweet coleslaw. We also ordered the chicken tenders. Everything was cooked right then! The fish was piping hot, and juicywith a crisp golden fried crust. My husband was served two generously sized cod fillets and enough fries for both of us toshare. Nothing was greasy? no dripping oil! I can say the same for my chicken tenders! I loved the bbq dipping sauce! I stole ahushpuppy and was going back for the other one when my husband popped it in his mouth. I could eat a whole basket of those tastybites!! The restaurant was clean and organized. I was offered several tea (fresh brewed) refills, and our table was clearedquickly. We sat and chatted with the owner and most of the staff for a while before leaving. We head home tomorrow, but notbefore grabbing breakfast from them? you should check out the review from Justin to get a look at the biscuit sandwich I?mordering in the morning! Checked this place out based on reviews from folks complimenting the food and interaction w the owner. I asked for a sausage,... egg, and cheese biscuit with a side of bacon as well as a piece of fried chicken (not on the breakfast menu) and theyaccommodated happily. One of the best breakfast biscuits I have ever had (freaking delicious). Check em out! Read more
Came for a late lunch, had a couple of cheeseburger baskets. They were made quick and brought to our table. Burger was juicy... and tasted perfect, and steamy hot. Fries were typical shoestring type which cooled of quickly. A thicker cut would havehelped with that. This is not a "fancy" place but very nice atmosphere and very clean tables. Mr BG's is close to the beachtoo. Closes early so don't wait too late. Lunch til 3pm and breakfast til 11AM Very friendly people here and at a reasonableprice too! Who could ask for more! Read more
