My family had heard great thinks about this establishment, so we decided to give you a try. (or so I thought). This past... Saturday after waiting in line for 20 minutes and one couple in front of us. We decided to leave as well as the 2 couples behindus. One older lady working the register and one in the kitchen. The customer service in here was terrible. I understand youare short staffed , However not one person even acknowledged we had been waiting for such a long time. Employees are always rude and don't want to wait on customers. I've given this store more than enough chances with always the... same result! There is always an employee sitting in the booth beside the soda fountain...it never matters how many people arein line, they never get up to assist. Was here a couple of weeks ago on a work trip and just now getting to post this. First time here! I slipped in right before... closing (didn?t know that at the time!) and they were so gracious to take my order. Loved the food! Such a cute place. Loved therecommendation on the chocolate cake? I?m not much of a cake person but it was honestly to die for. The current manager isAMAZING. She was so kind to tell me to please stay and finish my food while she cleaned up for the evening. We tried this place for the first time for lunch while we were in town and we loved it. My sister and I shared a scoop of the... classic carol chicken salad, a side of fresh fruit, a drink and it even came with a little cookie and crackers. We love chickensalad so we?re glad to know how good it is here and that we can actually have it again when we go back home to Ohio. The staffwas sweet and the manager or supervisor on duty was kind to check on us regularly and clear items out of our way while weenjoyed our visit. First time. The chicken salad croissant was great. I got the fruity with apples and grapes. My sister got the southern with... pickles. Everything was great but the sides. I got the broccoli salad, she got the pasta salad. Both were very dry withextreme lack of dressing. Service very quick. Was surprised to see the cookie sample on my plate. If you like chicken salad, this is the place for you! The restaurant was very clean well decorated. The workers were very nice.... I had a traditional chicken salad on toast and it was very good.
