We ordered the chargrilled oysters, soft shelled crab, seafood broiled platter, and onion rings. Everything was delicious and... our waiter, Steffannie, delivered greats service to our party of 14! She promised us the deviled crab was the best and it didnot disappoint...it was excellent. It was a great dinner! Read more

I would definitely eat here again. Good food and good value for the price. It was busy, having a crowd lined up outside, but we... got a table within 1/2 hour, and the service was good. If you have kids, they will enjoy seeing the alligator pool out front. Ihad broiled seafood platter with fried gator appetizer, and both were excellent. No complaints. Read more

I?m writing the review from the restaurant if that tells you anything. The portion was horrible for the price. The picture below... is listed as $45. LOL. But, the taste was even worse. Literally. The worst seafood I?ve ever had in my life. I wouldn?t haveminded it being so overpriced if it had any kind of taste. Very disappointed. I will say that the manager on duty was extremelynice and she tried to help satisfy us! Read more

Good Lawd this food is outstanding!! We had raw oysters, char-broiled oysters, crab platter for 2 and a salad. I don't what... their oyster sauce is made of but we dipped EVERYTHING in it!! I need the recipe, for real. The oysters were the biggest I haveever seen and so delicious! The crab was cooked to perfection and service was great. Like any beach restaurant, plan to wait! Our wait was only about 30 min. But they were busy and it was a holiday weekend. You absolutely MUST order the char-broiledoysters! Read more

The food was good, but it was expensive. I asked for my garlic bread twice, and finished meal without ever getting it. Very... pretty restaurant though. Serving size was on the small side. Read more

After a week vacation in the area, we came here for our final dinner mostly because my husband wanted seafood and I wanted to... see the alligator pond! We got here right at 5P and super glad we did because even though it was off season, the place waspacked almost immediately. The decor is fun in here, we found the place to be clean. Our server was fantastic and helped uschoose some items from the menu. We started with the cheese curd appetizer and it was really good. We thought about thealligator but after I was watching them out front, I felt too bad to order that! My hubby got the seafood platter, I did thelobster/shrimp. The place boasts locally sourced seafood and (not that I am an expert) it tasted local and fresh! I am a hugefan of the hush puppies, and they do them up great here. This was one of our best meals of the week! The alligator pond isreally cool in the front... I am hoping the owners of this place really take good care of them. Read more

I really really like this place. First off, they do not open until 5pm, we are a bit of early birds so we were there at 4pm to... explore. The closest place to them is a Winn Dixie, so we drove on by and noticed a Wine and Spirits (side store). Stopped on into get something to wet the whistle. The Winn Dixie did not disappoint. Went back to Bayou Bill's to wait till they opened, thensaw a beach access (#96) straight across the street. I had a fishing rod in the vehicle so I was ready, but the ole lady wasskeptical because of her choice of shoe wear (a little higher than ankle boots). Finally talked her into crossing the street tosee the beach, once we got there, she was not disappointed, shells were everywhere. Mind you we came in February. After thesunset we got back to Bayou Bill's, Gators were out front in a pool, hopefully heated cause it's chilly. Went in with no wait.Atmosphere is Angler, Nautical, Woody carpentry and fairly low light. We were attended to promptly and taken care of very wellthroughout our visit. The food is amazing. I was told during the season it is very busy with an hour to an hour and one halfwait, also heard there is no reservations, but I'm sure there is an exception to all rules. Read more
