My visit here was wrong on so many levels. I hate to say it but this was by far the worst Thai food I have eaten. I do not know... how the restaurant has 4.5 stars. The flavors weren't very Thai and I have eaten at many different Thai restaurants that areusing flavor profiles from many regions and I have had authentic Thai food as well. The one thing that wasn't a bust about ourvisit was the server was very nice- they needed another server but that's just hard to come by nowadays. It did take us about25-30 min at least before our order was even taken. Another staff member was getting drinks and we ordered a red wine and weregiven a white wine. Also they give you about a quarter glass of wine- really skimpy. I think the booze might be necessary to beable to enjoy the food. We ordered a few soup style dishes- curries etc and somehow they channeled the magical essence of thehot pocket whereas a hot pocket can be both scalding hot and ice cold at the same time- our dishes meats were somehow overcookedand rubbery yet the vegetables were raw- not al dente. In addition to the odd flavors- the tom kha soup tasted like someonedropped a Funyun (Funion?) into a bait bucket on a scorching Florida summer day and left it in there for 8 hours. It was sofake oniony, fishy, and a bit sour. They completely forgot my husbands food. Meanwhile the tables around us are sending foodback almost non stop. I just couldn't stomach the curry and all I could eat of it was the broth (which was bad) and rice sinceeverything was overcooked or not cooked at all- I sent it back and requested nothing in its place. We requested just to pay forwhat we ate and drank so we could just leave and then my husbands dish came out. It had to be at least 20 min after my disharrived on the table. At that point we had already decided to leave and go somewhere else. The noodle dish they put down justlooked soggy and off so we politely declined. Needless to say while we were waiting I was looking for Read more

Nice staff, clean restaurant. They need to update their menu and maybe not put so many choices. Some are not available, like... seaweed salad. They have a buffet table and advertise for it on their menu, but don't offer one. They don't indicate which itemsare spicy in the menu either, even though there is a key at the bottom to show which items would be hot. I guess they forgot tomark the dishes before they printed the menus. They leave the ticket on a tray at the table, but don't come back to pick it up,which is custom for leaving a tray with the ticket. They expect you to take the ticket and the tray to the cash register, whichis odd and confusing. The noodles were a little rubbery, but it was mostly very good food. We have been before and will go back. Read more

I was too far away to go to my usual perfect Thai place so I read reviews on this place and was hooked....I paid $8 for "Thai... Chicken Wings". This is just battered chicken wings with absolutely no flavor or seasoning. And they are extremely small for theprice. I've had Thai chicken wings before so trying to pass this by me is an insult. The $5 "Egg Fried Rice" had no egg in itand it was full of white rice clumps. It was very obvious that they used hot steamed rice to make the fried rice. That's why itgets mushy and clumps up. Again I eat Thai food ALOT so I know this is not Thai fried rice. The icing on the cake, I don't mindpaying a little extra for Thai ice tea but I paid $5.35 not for a large cup which I'm used to getting at a lesser price but fora small cup. It's sad because I was convinced by the great reviews that this is the place to go. I will not stray away againfrom Royal Thai Cuisine, it's so worth the trip! Prices match the quality and quantity. I can eat twice when I order there. Ihad to eat a bowl of cereal after this stuff I got today. ???? Read more

Very good Thai food. I enjoyed my meal of Tom Yum soup and green curry beef. This picture is red curry duck, which was... excellent. It was quite busy at dinner time, but the staff kept it moving as fast as they could. I'm a long time customer andwill keep coming back; you should too! Read more

This place is owned by someone else than the last time we visited and boy was it an improvement! Not that the old owners were... bad but the food was spicey even when asked for it to not be. This is someplace we needed here in Panama City! It's kinda hiddenon the edges of the Cove but worth the trek to find it! The portions were so big we even brought food home! Can't wait to diginto the leftovers later tonight and probably tomorrow! Read more
