This was my second time at Maddie's. I believe it changed ownership since the last time I went, but it was much the same. To... our surprise, a Mariachi band started up not long after we got there. They were awesome. The food was quite good, althoughthey were out of tamales which I had looked forward to. Prices are reasonable, a selection of beer, margaritas, and liquor isavailable. It's refreshing to patronize a family owned, genuine Mexican restaurant. Recommended. Read more

This was a nice little surprise. I came in just looking for some Mexican food, not really expecting much from this tiny mom and... pop operation. But right from the jump the servers were quick and super nice, the menu was easy, the food was premo (the mexicansausage tortas were legitimatly some of the best food i have put in my mouth), The atmosphere was comfortable and authentic, andfrom what I understand most Fridays you can see these guys performing (very talented). 10/10 will he dinning here agian. I wouldlove to see this restruant thrive for a long long time, cuase it's probably my new favorite. Read more

Delicious ?real? Mexican dishes! Food was hot and quickly served. The ?chunky? guacamole was the best I?ve ever had.. definitely... worth the 20 minute ride from St.Andrews Park. Read more

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while. I've read other great reviews about it and seen other pictures and I... was sold based on those. I grew up in SoCal and have been searching for Mexican food as good ever since I left (13 yearsago). It is a quaint little "hole in the wall" shop on Harrison Ave. The overall feel of the atmosphere felt like a nice familyoriented atmosphere. Traditional decor. The waitress we had was very pleasant and checked on us frequently. The food wasabsolutely delicious. My husband ordered quite a bit of food (way too much for just himself, but who's judging ????). The salsawas probably the best salsa I have ever had! Everything was so good! We will definitely be back and this may actually be our newfavorite place to eat at! Read more

I'd not dined here for quite some time so I decided to make the drive and have some great Tex-Mex. I wasn't disappointed. I had... the Birria tacos with the obligatory chips and salsa along with a cold adult beverage. Oh, the salsa is by far the best I've hadin the area! The tacos were absolutely fantastic with beef and queso served with the consommé from the stew, topped withonions and cilantro for dipping. As a side note, their tortas are delicious and unique to this restaurant. Don't pass thishidden little gem up! Read more
