My first trip to Mr. Bubbles Ice Cream shop. Not sure what to expectt (most places have the standard Hershey's ice cream), so... my husband and I took a chance. So glad that we did. We give it a "Best Ever" rating compared to other high quality ice creamsthat we've eaten. Will definitely go back again and try their other flavors. Read more
They are super friendly and I enjoyed every time I have been. Which is a lot,or very chance I get . If there is something you... don't see ask. They might be able to make it .. no buggers or fries . New ice cream stand that just opened about a week before we went to try it. It is mediocre ice cream, and few options overall.... There were only 2 people working and the wait to get the order was kind of long considering there were only 6 people there atthe time. I ordered a sundae and it didn't have one of the three toppings listed on the sign, so I went back up to ask and wasinformed they didn't have that topping. In the grand scheme of life, no big deal, but probably should have mentioned that when Iordered the sundae, or if they didn't realize they were out of the topping, mentioned it as they were making it and saw therewasn't any left. Instead, I was given an incomplete ordered, charged full price, and wouldn't have said anything about it had Inot asked. Again, minor life inconveniences, so I ate my sundae without one of the toppings and I'm surviving to tell the tale.Regardless, my husband and I agree that it was expensive ice cream for what it was ($6 for a sundae; DQ prices for lower qualityice cream), and not worth the drive out again. We'll probably just stick with DQ in Appomattox with more options and fasterservice. Read more
Our BBQ sandwiches were cold. All the time the owner trying to tell me how he can't do chicken fingers because it takes too long... & he likes the food to come out hot & fast. Well neither was our case. My mom hadn't been eating & she wanted a BBQ. Too bad shecouldn't eat it. Won't be back. Read more
